This podiatrist is the nicest doctor I have ever met! Seriously! And I think that's saying much…read moreconsidering the Dutch culture. This guy is just genuinely nice and very professional. I had an accident and my right foot was very painful for months after it when I went running. I was worried that my tendons were damaged but after he performed several check and an ultrasound on my foot, he concluded that the tiny muscles holding the tendons are in fact swollen but that the tendons are fine. I visited him a few times. The first time he didn't want to take any money from me because he suspected it wasn't a big deal based on the small tests he did. He told me to come back when I had complaints after resting my foot for 4-6 weeks. I did that. He only charged me once for a full exam. When I went back for a "second opinion" and I asked him for another ultra sound just to make sure it's really not my tendons, he said "Sure, why not". He did the exam and the ultrasound on both feet and showed me how they differ and why they differ and gave me more general knowledge and assured me that my tendons are in fact fine. His patience, genuine kindness, understanding and professionalism aside, he didn't even charge me for this exam! He just charged me for a mere consult! This guy is awesome. I don't care if you live in Amsterdam Zuid or Amstelveen get your painful foot to this awesome podiatrist! You won't regret it!
