TOO.MUCH.TAKING!!!! Especially in the mornings! When I'm going to school I don't wanna hear about stupid celebrity drama or "gUeSs tHe sOuNd" I want to hear MUSIC! I need something to hype me up in the mornings when going to school, and something to debrief myself when I'm going home. I used to listen to Bob/Showgram back in the day when I was driving to work, but his streak of racism, misogyny, homophobia and general ignorance on any topic made me jump ship rather quickly. People have mentioned that he "calmed down a bit" - so I gave him another try a few months back. Lasted 2 stop lights before I had to change the station. I also used to put their music on when I was cooking or cleaning or something - background music. They played the same songs over and over and over again, along with commercials from their employees hocking products as the best thing on the planet. Got very irritating very fast. Between Bob, poor track lists, and the infomercials, they've been off my station list for a few months. So much better out there, especially internet streaming! read more

If you hear a song you like on G105, just keep listening for about an hour - you'll hear it again. I honestly think their playlist is about 15 songs that keep getting played over and over in rotation. I've literally heard the same song 5 times in a single afternoon. I'd have to LOVE a song to want to hear it that much, and even then I might get a little tired with it. As for the air staff, I find most of them even harder to stand than the music - with the exception of the morning Showgram. It's sort of my guilty pleasure. I've listened to G105's morning show about as long as Bob Dumas has been there. In the early days his partner Mike apparently got fired for some stunt that involved another radio station. To this day I'm not sure anyone at the station is allowed to discuss that incident... Musically, if you want to hear T.I., Akon, Beyonce, Rihanna, Britney, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift all day long, you can't do better than G105. As for me though, I'll be listening to my iPod whenever possible. read more

Bob and the show gram used to be funny . I listened because it was morning talk radio now its the same thing on the same order I hate the music same songs day after day. Erica is so annoying. I start out every morning but about 10 minutes in I switch the channel. Only bright spot is when Bob's wife Lou is on. read more

Recently moved to the area and started listening to this station, this is the first time I've ever thought about making comments on a radio station before, but today pushed me to do it. I've been in the area for 3 weeks now, and I've heard numerous situations on this station that are just messed up. Typically you hear the crap come out of Bob's mouth. His comments are typically rude and moronic, today he talks about male babies not wanting to breast feed because they could potentially be homosexual. First caller in tells him he says some pretty crazy stuff but this takes the cake. I agree completely, then Bob makes a comment about how any smart person would consider the possibility of this situation. When a baby comes into the world their mind is still learning everything, their brain is still developing as well. So a rock is hard and rough. The window is smooth, hard, and is stopping the baby from going further. A boob is on this person, it's soft and squishy, when it goes into this hole in my face I suck on it and something comes out that tastes good. Come on man, I know homosexuals that were breast fed through childhood. Their mom's said they never fussed, even one mom said she's surprised he turned out gay because of how much he loved being breast fed. So any "Smart person" would do a little research before sounding like a complete moron. What you should say is, "Any stupid person would say something completely moronic without checking their facts first." This is radio, and it is all about the ratings. With some controversy you can't keep people pulled in, but this guy has problems. A week or two ago he tells a transgender to not adopt a baby from another country because her family doesn't need to be messed up anymore than it is. How this guy didn't get beat or sued for that comment is beyond me. This guy needs to be taken off the air, he does nothing but offend, he's a complete bigot and when he states he's a "redneck" he is just making us other country boys look stupid too. Well, Eric is definitely right about the corporate influence on G105. They play a ton of commercials and maybe about 10 different songs every hour. For me, the lack of variety is damning, and their DJs are slick, overproduced, and terribly irritating. A lot of people seem to love the morning show (Bob & The Showgram), but to me it's just way too formatted and hokey. I do have an unapologetic love of Fergie, so I guess it's nice that if I'm flipping through the stations, there's about a 20% chance that G105 will be playing one of her songs. There isn't a single special or original thing about this station, but if Top 40 music is your preference (and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that) you'll probably love G105. read more

Hope Bob and the Showgram is gone for good I may actually listen again. G105 is NOT what it use to be.
