Both our visits were early walk-ins: the first time we were seated at the non-reserved window seats; on our next visit, the very nice maitre'd let us have a table if we promised to be out by 4pm. She even offered to let us pay in advance to maximize our time! Even though that worked for us, we'd strongly recommend making reservations!
On our first visit we ordered their Margherita pizza, since that's our standard "reference" pizza. We were blown away by the incredible crust but not the toppings; the tomato sauce didn't have the kick we'd expect from DOP San Marzano tomatoes, but it may have been from a paucity of Grana Padano parmesan. No matter; this was a small deviation from perfection.
During our first visit we noticed several incredibly cheesy pizzas coming out of the oven, so the second time around we tried their Quattro Formaggi pizza. Five minutes later it was on our table and this is definitely the ultimate--bursting with flavor, distinctly different from any other we've ever had. Perusing the menu, I noticed that Gorgonzola was one of the four cheeses, which is definitely not standard practice! Pure genius!
For dessert we had the Tarteletta Cioccolatto e Lamponi, which was superb.
We really cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. Just perfect.
