Well we ordered Nachos, quesadillas, a kid plate and my two tacos! $32.00 worth of food Well the buzzer rang and I was thinking our food was ready! So I go and to get news of they are out of refried beans!!!! Seriously ..... Smh! So we finally get my food and they gave me extra churros and they tasted like fried cinnamon dough! So it literally tastes like butt! The nachos tasted like cheese and mayo! The quesadillas tasted ok, with a pinky sized portion of pico! The kids meal literally wasn't ate because of the smell! If I could give zero stars I would. Fuzzys used to be a good place to eat. Now, it's a straight up bar and food is the least of their worry's. The last few times I've eaten there the food was subpar and nothing like it used to be. Tonight I couldn't even order food. The staff were too busy slinging drinks than taking food orders. I stood by for 10 min with several other customers waiting to order food before I finally just walked out. Well they need to change their hours of operation! Yelp & their website says that they are open till 12midnight Thursday-Saturday!So I walked in at 10:30 pm on a Saturday night just to find out that the kitchen closes at 10pm. The bar must be what stays open till midnight. Does that mean that the restaurant closes at 8pm on Sunday-Wednesday? Cause the website says closes @10pm Sunday-Wednesday! I stopped into Fuzzy's tonight for a late dinner. It's been awhile since I've been there and I was more then pleasantly surprised. The manager, Trevor, greeted me and the order counter and was more then happy to answer my questions about the menu. I settled on an enchilada plate with a side of black beans and the Latin fried potatoes. After ordering, I took my seat. The restaurant was busy, it was a Saturday night, and in a very timely manner my number was called and my order was ready. Everything was hot, fresh tasting and very flavorful. I really loved the Latin fried potatoes. I'll be back for more of those for sure. When I was finishing up my meal, Trevor stopped by my table to ask how everything was and asked if I needed anything thing else. He really went the extra mile to make sure I had a great experience while there. As I mentioned, the restaurant was pretty busy but the atmosphere was fun and lively. We went in today (Thursday) to visit with family who live in Temple. I have always LOVED fuzzy's, I love their trivia nights etc and frequented it throughout college. I NEVER do bad reviews but this place needs a warning sign. First of all, we get there and go to the bar to order our food bc we saw another guy order 4 meals which he then gave to the bartenders to eat while working. The girl took my brother's order but told the rest of us we'd have to go to the register to order. Guess you have to buy them a meal for service at the bar. So we did, and after waiting about 20 minutes and hearing numbers way past ours being called we went up and asked where it was. They had "lost the ticket." So they said they'd immediately start it and took another 25 for a grand total of 45 minutes waiting for our meals. When we went to order they also told us they were out of tempura shrimp, brisket, fajita chicken, and Oreo churros so we had pretty slim pickings menu wise. When we finally got our food, the loudest music ever began and I felt like I was at a concert...front row. Visiting? No longer an option unless you want to SCREAM at each other. Furthermore, 5 tables were smoking and vaping despite the numerous signs saying not to, not the most appetizing thing to smell while you eat. Overall, beyond awful experience I still love Fuzzy's but I will not be back at this particular one. There's not enough space on here to describe all the issues I've had with this fuzzys. The food, at times, can be pretty good. The service, however, is sub par at best. I've had bartenders ignore me on several occasions. I got into it with the cook bc he gave us attitude when my friend was just simpley asking for what she deserved with her food. I've eaten hard as a rock potatoes, my food has take over 45 min to make for just two burritos. I have complained numerous times, yet they still have not made any changes. It's hard to find fish tacos in Texas (well, compared to other places I've lived) so I was thrilled to find Fuzzy's had them on their menu. I went in about 12:30 pm and ordered 3 tacos.. 1 grilled fish taco, 1 tempura coated fried fish taco, and 1 vegetarian taco. Mixed reviews: the vegetarian taco was a total miss. I am a vegetarian and know good vegetarian food. This was NOT it. Pass on the vegetarian taco. I ended up throwing most of mine away. Next: the grilled fish taco. It was fair, worth eating but not worth driving for. Just something to keep you from starvation. But the tempura fried fish taco was WONDERFUL!! The fish was friend perfectly, and thank goodness there was no cheese trying to hide the deliciousness of the fish. It was worth the drive to get there! I WILL be going back to Fuzzy's... now with a little experience I will just order 3 of the wonderful tempura fried fish tacos, and be in Taco heaven! read more

Honestly, I would leave a 0 star review if possible. There were maybe 10 people in the restaurant at the point that we were there. Our order was placed at 12:32 and we are now leaving at a quarter to 2. It took my brother and I each approaching the cooks multiple times to even get an answer regarding whether or not they were aware of our order. At 1:05 I approached the woman at the check out and asked why we had not received chips and queso. My brother and I each have experience working in restaurants. I get that sometimes restaurants are short staffed. Unfortunately, after asking for chips and queso (that was just cheese sauce in need of a 3-minute microwave) three times, only then did we receive it. The number of tickets that were visibly displayed in the kitchen and amount of customers that they had in the restaurant do not account for a 40-minute wait on chips and queso. At the point that we had been waiting over an hour, only then did we explain that we'd really like our mere 6 tacos ordered. At this point a visibly high cook stated that he would START making them then. They placed 3 tacos on a tray after over an hour's wait, and 2 minutes after the cook stated that he would BEGIN making them, mind you. 2 were the fajita chicken tacos we had ordered and one was a mahi taco that did not have pineapples or sauce included on it, as initially ordered. Again, we ordered 6 total and 3 were placed on a tray for us after waiting over an hour. We ate the 3 tacos even though one was incorrect merely because we had been waiting over an hour. We had things to do today, were hungry and needed food and so we did not even want the 3 that were not yet made. At the point that my mother approached the woman at the register for a refund for the 3 tacos we did not get (even though one of the 3 tacos we ate was, again, not the taco I had ordered), the owner/woman at the register stated that she needed to see our ticket. She tried to tell us we did not grab the other tacos that we ordered and obviously ate 3 tacos--insinuating that there wasn't much of an issue after over an hour's wait. The way the owner/woman at the register spoke to my mother was inexcusable. She was acting as though she wasn't going to give my mom her money back for the 3 tacos we had not received, and after an hour and 15 minute wait. Additionally, she stated that another customer may have taken our order, but that wasn't a reason for her to give us a refund. Ridiculous. I have never written a yelp review in my life. I have deep respect for those who work in the food service industry. However, after the rude way in which this owner conducted herself amidst dealing with, RIGHTFULLY SO, disappointed customers, I will not only not be back, I will also caution everyone that they should take their business elsewhere. read more

He said it wasn't very good but not bad enough to complain at the restaurant but started to feel nauseous an hour later at the office and is feeling super sick now. I hated this chain in Burleson and I hate it here. I cannot think of a singular compliment for this location other than they had jameson available at the bar. i would say if you want a step up from taco bell, go to taco cabana but I cannot in good conscience recommend the temple location of that chain, either. find yourself a jaliscos and enjoy your meal. read more

The food is almost always great here. We've ate there maybe ten times and have left full and satisfied each time. Everything we've had is tasty - one of our new go-to restaurants. Only complaints: Last couple of time we've went it's been freezing cold inside. Last week we had to go out to the truck and get our jackets. Girls at the front ordering section are not always the friendliest. Our last visit was strange - we both ordered the fried potatoes. Mine came steaming hot...my partner's were almost ice cold. And one of my tacos was also basically cold, if I was at home I'd slap it in the microwave. Food was not ready when promised, received food thirty minutes after promised. Food had been cooked and sat in the back, when my daughter got home the food was ice cold (we only live 5 minutes away). Fuzzy's is fine. The margaritas are the best thing about this restaurant. There are usually sports games playing on the TVs, and the patio is nice. I like the queso, but it's definitely more unique. I was happy to see them open in Temple after enjoying Fuzzy's in DFW when I lived there. This place needs help. I overlooked problems the first few months they were open thinking it was just from being new. But at this point things should be at least as good as what I was experiencing in Dallas. I'm beginning to think their focus is on drinks and the food is just an afterthought. My current complaint are the taco fillings. They are too paltry. There is more tortilla than filling and half the filling is lettuce. My chicken fajita taco had 3 tiny pieces of meat, about the size of a cigarette butt. I could go on about the tasteless guacamole and the micro slice of avocado I got when I paid extra to add more bulk to my taco. I'll check back in a year to see if the place has improved. We were at this Fuzzy's location shortly after their opening and it was as expected (high expectations). They have really gone downhill fast! I run a food establishment (NOT competitive with Fuzzy's in any way), mentioned here only to reflect on Health Department permits/inspections ... things like dead flies (plural) on the serving counter, cooks not wearing hats, dirty floors, and old rags thrown into buckets for cleaning tables (without changing water) are bad enough when seen by a customer. To think of what could be behind-the-scenes gives one that dirty feeling. Not good. Do not go here!! Plus, the food was very bland and full of fillers. read more
