By the way, this post is showing my location as Priddis but it is actually Calgary. So I'm frugal and I was going to go with the Carpet Cleaning Discounts that come out in the flyers. I usually use them, but this time decided to check out testimonials of carpet cleaning and boy am I glad I did! Those other outfits cleaned but I was never impressed and just figured this was the result for any carpet cleaning outfit. I recall it was Thanksgiving Monday, I left a voice mail saying I needed my carpets cleaned and to contact me. The next day my husb. rec'd the call from a very nice man by the name of Gerald and in a few days Leon arrived at our door, not only on time but, before the actual time. I wanted to be at home to show the guy all the marks but I owe, I owe so off to work I go. Around noon I called home to see how it was going. My husband, I could tell was pretty impressed and what husband gets impressed with carpet cleaning? The carpet guy probably saw his Toronto Maple Leaf Room and the guy gave my spouse a compliment and now this guy would be his best friend. I asked my husband to put Leon on the phone so I could drill him...gotta admit this fellow represented Future-Now Carpets above and beyond. Leon said I would be pleased with the results and apologized he couldn't get all the stains out. Well, heck. I told him I wasn't expecting miracles and just hoped it would look better than before because it was bad, life with friends, relatives and pets gave our carpets a beating. When I got home I was not only impressed but shocked that he did such a wonderful job. The stairs especially were amazing! My husband said that Leon told him that we had a good quality carpet and in Leon's opinion it wouldn't need to be replaced for quite a few years. Rats! Leon! I was hoping for new! Did you really tell my husband that or is he b.s. ing me?? Regardless, I am deliriously happy over the fabulous job you did, and I would recommend Future-Now Carpets to anyone and everyone. I'm so glad I wasn't frugal this time, for in this particular case you pay for what you get and realistically the cost was affordable and worth it. The only negative aspect of this whole experience was that my husband wasn't able to convert Leon to become a Toronto Maple Leaf fan...go Leafs go... I was trying to clean my Mom's carpets with her home-use carpet-steamer, and it broke down very early on in the process. (Probably because I was going over and over and over a really bad stain that I couldn't get clean no matter what, and working the cleaner too hard) So, we had carpet throughout her condo that was somewhat pre-treated and one spot was veeery wet. Mom wanted to buy another steam-cleaner to finish the job, but I suggested we try a professional first, and then she could decide if she wanted to buy another steam-cleaner. She saw how discouraged I was with my attempt, and she agreed. We needed someone really fast, so I looked up reviews on Yelp and decided that Future Now Carpets looked like they might be a good choice. I put in a request around 10 pm for a quote, and Gerald called me the next morning at 9 am. Nice! He was very personable and had a great sense of humour, and was able to get to my Mom's the next morning. He arrived on time and did a super job cleaning Mom's carpets - all stains gone & they look fantastic! He put everything back in place for my Mom and even cleaned the baseboards in a corner for her that we had missed earlier, before putting a shelf back in place, as she is a senior and it would have been difficult for her. I asked Mom if she still wanted to buy another home-use steam cleaner, and she said 'no thanks! - She can see the difference now', and she thinks Future Now is just the bee's knees. So, thankfully, I'm no longer on carpet cleaning duty, because I suck anyway - ha ha! Besides which the cleaning solution is pretty expensive too, and just can't do the job a pro cleaner can do. The savings on doing it ourselves is nowhere near enough to warrant the effort it would have taken to do the job, and I know that I would never have gotten it as nearly as clean. Mom says she's going to be calling Future Now (Gerald) to come and steam-clean her furniture next. Yay! I'm not on that duty either! Now I can just visit and have a nice cuppa tea with Mom, and let the pros do what they do best : ) read more

Gerald, principal of Future-Now Carpet Ltd., cleaned our residential broadloom about 10 days ago. I was betwixt and between about whether to utilize the hot water extraction method or the encapsulation method. My research suggested that the use of both methods, over time, might be the best solution. Gerald arrived early. He spent 7.5 hours, using the encapsulation method, cleaning about 1500 square feet of carpet. He moved furniture as required. He removed one pet stain to the point of virtual invisibility. To be fair, our attempt to remove the dog's bile before Gerald's attendance, may have set the stain. Two other small yellow stains, which Gerald did his darndest to remove, remain. To his credit, Gerald said he would research the problem and return to try to remove them. When Gerald left, the carpet had a new lustre and, for the most part, was dry. I can only describe Gerald's performance as the ultimate in service. He was personable, knowledgeable, diligent and meticulous. It was clear that his goal was to take his time and clean the carpets as well as he could. He did a fabulous job. I have waited till now to do this review because I wanted to see how well carpets would stand up after cleaning. I am happy to say that the carpets, which were in reasonable shape, but hadn't been cleaned in a long time before Gerald's attendance, look new. Thank you, Gerald! read more

After several years of having visiting incontinent pets, muddy feet and dye shading socks it was time to get the carpets done. Reviewed the "best" lists on Yelp and settled on Future Now Carpets (I liked the idea of a low liquid chemical process that let me back in very soon after the job was done - and the good previous reviews.) The reponse to my request for an estimate was quick and clearer than some of the other responses. Setting up the appointment for the work was speedy and at a convenient time. On the cleaning day the staff were on time, efficient, friendly and thorough. Even the dog was a fan.. The real test of a firm comes when a problem or concern develops. When putting the furniture back I found a divot of what appeared to be missing carpet fibres (about 1 cm dia). This is something you do not want to have to explain to your spouse when she comes back. Called the owner, Gerald, at 7 pm thinking to leave a message. He was back to me within minutes and we set up a date for the next day. The next day he was here, poked at the divot and deduced there was an easy fix of warming and brushing the carpet fibres back to where they should be. It worked! Within a half an hour I was happy with the results. I was impressed with the process from start to finish. And the carpet looks like it had just been installed. read more

In addition to being very friendly and knowledgeable, the service level received is second to none. In a city where service seems to be greatly lacking, Future-Now Carpets goes above and beyond expectations. Gerald is there when you need him and will work his schedule around to accommodate our needs. The "green" environmentally friendly products used by Future-Now Carpets are very important to us, as many of our residents have sensitivities to chemicals and smells. Future-Now Carpets use of low water (fast drying technology) means little to no down times on furniture and carpets cleaned. Gerald has removed stain from our site we thought impossible to remove and has saved us thousands of dollars in replacing flooring. His pricing is extremely competitive and fair; we have yet to find someone that will match it or his service level. I have a large dog and the basement suite I had rented had carpet throughout the entire suite. My dog had found a large area he enjoyed peeing on.....this being said I had probably a 3' x 3' area with large stains. Afraid of losing my damage deposit I started my research by reviews and quotes. Future now carpets were not only a reasonable price they weren't going to charge extra for a "deep clean" like others. I had quotes from 100 - 400 for my suite. Future now came in cleaned the carpets and not only got the stains from my dog out but also got pre-existing stains out that were there when I moved in. I highly recommend these guys especially for anyone who has pets and are worried. What other companies charge 100-200 extra for they do with no extra charges. I had Future-Now come out to do a carpet that had not been cleaned in easily 10 years. There were dirty spots where furniture had been moved, a laundry detergent stain in bright blue near the washing machine and just general dinginess. The staff member arrived early, went right to work, and was done quickly. The carpet looks just wonderful - almost new except for an old wax stain I had tried to get out. He did his best and it looks better than what I had managed to achieve. In the end, he was done about the time he had previously said he would arrive and the job was done for somewhat less than had been quoted. I would use Future Now again in a heartbeat. Note: I live in Calgary, not San Francisco. There appears to be some glitch. I am certain the price would have been higher if they'd had to come to SF. read more

I would highly recommend Future Now Carpets. These guys Showed up at least 5 mins early and did an amazing job. I had them do my 5 bedroom house and the couches. When they were done the couches looked better then they did new, and the carpets looked amazing. We were considering ripping all the carpets up but now that these guys have finished we will keep them for a couple yrs. They went thru room to room with us and explained what they did and if there were any problems. Just first class customer service, I don't think I can express how great these guys are. I spoke with Gerald, the owner, to discuss their services and to request a quote for cleaning the carpets and some furniture in my condo. All costs were included in the quote and this was consistent with the final invoice. He was pleasant and clearly explained their services and costs. Zac arrived early, and before beginning, he reviewed the order, confirming the work, costs, and processes. He finished the job in less than three hours and all furniture was back in place, since drying time was quick. Zac was professional, courteous, and did a great job. I have suffered from Allergies for as long as I can remember, when I heard of the new process that Future-Now Carpets was using, I decided to give it a shot.
