I recently found out that Fusion charges between $1,000 and $3,000 for personal income tax returns. I have no doubt that they are a top notch firm but those prices are out of my league. read more

Been working with Trevor and his team for 6 years ... great firm ... worth the investment and peace of mind.

Incredibly grateful for Trevor and his team. I'm a small business owner, based in Austin, TX and found my way onto Fusion's email list a number of months ago. They have provided tremendous insight and value, sparking my interest in, and understanding of, government subsidy programs, such as the PPP loan and EIDL loan, during these times. This inspiration led me to initiate the process, with our accountant, in Austin. I am so glad we did. My business was granted both loans! I've known Trevor McCandless for years, and he has always been a person that genuinely cares about other people and that shows in the business practices of Fusion CPA. read more

Much the same as others, I moved to GA with a somewhat (at least by my standards) complex tax return. Income split between two states, rental property in a third state, etc. I found Trevor via an ad and figured I would roll the dice and contact him. I was not disappointed. We talked on the phone and he quickly outlined what all he would need and we set a date in February to meet and hand over the necessary documents. I'll admit to being a tad nervous handing a guy I'd never met a CD with all my tax documents, but I need not have worried. Trevor is personable, and clearly both knowledgeable and oddly passionate about his work. How he's that interested in taxes I'll never know, but it was reassuring. After a couple of emails to clarify some of the documents, Trevor had my return (all 58 pages of it) emailed to me for review in about a week. Definitely the best 3 hours I've contracted out in a while. I have the peace of mind knowing it was done correctly, and a sizeable return as well. Fusion has won my tax business for the remainder of my time in ATL. read more

Money and numbers and stuff are all way over my head, but Trevor was very patient with me as we worked our way through several years of back taxes. Filing current taxes, I can manage - it was just all the old stuff I needed taken care of (I wasn't a very responsible kid). He dealt with the ins-and-outs of back taxes for me, so I didn't have to deal with the IRS (I had no idea which years I was even still able to file, and which had been auto-filed for me - Trevor was happy to find out for me!). At the end of it all, he printed everything up all nice and neat, labeled and ready to go - all I had to do was slap a stamp on an envelope and that was that! Definitely recommend working with Trevor - he is very patient and understanding, and great at what he does! read more

Honesty + Knowledge = Trevor I think hate is a nasty awful word. But man do I HATE filing my taxes. w2, 1099 1040 1%$#^&%&$#^%$^.... it's a headache. But never fear, Trevor was here. He took the time to explain to me about how straight forward my situation was and gave me some advice to figure out what I might be doing wrong. If I should ever have a more complicated tax situation, I will be going to Trevor... true story. read more

I have never used a professional tax preparation service before (I typically use TurboTax), but I had a very complicated tax issue this year and Trevor and Steven were awesome in helping me resolve it. They were extremely patient with my many questions. They were always accessible via email and phone and they took the time to break down complex tax provisions in a way that were easy to understand. I also appreciated how transparent they were about their fees and how efficient they were in researching issues and preparing my tax returns. I was thoroughly by their professionalism and friendliness, and I highly, highly recommend them! read more

I have been a client for a few years now and I don't see anything that they do that cannot be done by a software. I expected more advice on tax management and planning rather than give us your papers and here are your taxes types of transactions. I will certainly will not go back. read more

I truly don't know where to begin. I run a medium sized business that is unique in how it operates. We were a rapid growth company. Our back office was a total mess! I know nothing about finance at all! Fusion came in and helped to clean it up. More importantly though, they took the time to educate me and help me understand what I was looking at. They took the time out of their busy schedule to show me different ways of doing things. They truly are amazing people and well worth every penny they charge...because they certainly earn it. read more

Fusion CPA took over the netSuite accounting oversite of my ecommerce pillow business,(headquartered in Michigan), that was neglected by previous bookeeper and accountant so seamlessly that i cannot recommend Fusion CPA enough! Thank you Fusion CPA!! read more

Really smart cpa firm. Trevor and his team are very attentive and able to solve problems.

This was my first time talking to a CPA and I had a lot of questions about how I can take advantage of small business tax breaks based on my current situation. I asked a few questions to get a better idea of the situation and if I could/ could not do certain things (as I do not know the law). Instead of helping me understand the situation, I may be correct or I may be incorrect - but I was looking for answers. The questions were fairly simple - "Can I do this? Can I do that? Will doing this help me?" The responses I got from them were "That is a very weird question", "You are not my client and I don't need to answer your questions". If that was the scenario, why did they set up a call with me? Definitely the worst experience in terms of customer service. read more

These guys are great. As a new business owner, I feel like I just got dropped off to college. Trevor set up a phone meeting with me to discuss my future plans and answer ALL of my questions. I'm sure they are very busy and for them to do so with a brand new customer was a pleasant surprise. Look forward to doing business with Fusion. read more

Earlier this year I reached out to Fusion to prepare my income tax return. Normally I do my taxes myself, but this year I had an extremely complex return (Multiple states, multiple jobs, single residency). I found Fusion via Google and submitted a request for contact. I received a call within half an hour. (This was near COB on a Friday as well). I described my scenario and was given a rough quote on the phone. Trevor informed me what documents he would need to begin my return so I scanned and sent them over. My taxes were done within just a few business days. From the day I contacted them to refund was about 9 days. Great service, excellent communication, and taxes done right all in a quick manner. Fusion will be doing my taxes again next year. read more

Fusion has prepared both individual and business tax returns for me. In addition to the sheer joy I experience by handing this task to someone else, their advice has been integral to making both business and personal financial decisions. Trevor and his team are extremely knowledgeable and hardworking... in fact, we spoke today and he was in his office during Snowmageddon 2.0! So much more than just taxes... if you are a business owner, you will greatly benefit from the services of Fusion CPA! read more

Trevor and Fusion CPA have been awesome to work with. I own an LLC. Not only were they able to advise and guide me through my questions, they also set me up for success for the previous and forthcoming tax seasons. You won't get the big, corporate firm mentality from these guys. They genuinely care about each of their clients and uphold them as personal relationships versus a pay check. read more

Fusion rocks! As an entrepreneur running a small business, every penny counts. From the moment I met Trevor, he has provided priceless guidance, helped us maximize our returns (in ways our previous CPA didn't), and he's become not only a trusted adviser, but a friend as well. I've heard horror stories of people with miserable CPAs, and I'm thankful that Fusion is the exact opposite. They are easy to work with, very punctual, and always extremely helpful. read more
