On very short notice, the team was able to accommodate our wishes and our schedule and make it happen. We were definitely apprehensive and nervous at first, but the entire team made us feel comfortable and at ease. They made it so easy to step into the moment, relax, and actually enjoy the experience. We had such an amazing time that we ended up making a special trip back about a month later specifically for another photo shoot--this time planned in advance so we could really step things up with the photos and setting. The second experience was even better than the first. Having the Las Vegas Strip as a backdrop was absolutely perfect and helped capture not only the beauty of the photos, but the love and connection between us. The team was incredible both times, and the results exceeded our expectations. What started as a spontaneous idea during a business trip turned into an experience we'll always remember. We started working with Mindy a year prior to our wedding. After meeting with her the 1st time, my…read morefiancee and I decided to have her (not an associate) as our photographer. This was just personal preference because we thought she was really cool and liked her work. Mindy did our engagement photos off-site at Mt Charleston and the colors are amazing. She even got our dog to look like a pro. She was very exact on her directions which is great for me because I can make some awkward poses for pictures. A week out, I had a phone interview with Mindy. She helped me set out the actual wedding timeline and come up with a plan. She also made suggestions on what she's seen work well. Since this was her first time at the venue, the day prior, she did a walk through there with me and the venue coordinator to come up with a game plan. The day of, we were able to add in some spontaneous photos with a faux fur coat my friend brought as well as graffiti and foliage photos based off what was available. She kept us all on track and even early based off the timeline. We can't wait to see the finished products.

We still wanted to get married as planned so we decided to do a micro wedding in town and push our large reception to what will be our 1 year anniversary. I didn't know where to start! Navigating fees and permits, outdoor rentals, decor, etc. was not something I was ready to tackle on such a tight timeline. We found Heather and after a phone call I knew we were in great hands. I told her our ideas and she designed a package for us that fit our needs perfectly- she also suggested the perfect location! I was sold.  As the months leading up to our wedding passed, 2020 continued to throw curveballs our way. My fiance's father got sick, my grandma passed, and my dad had impending open heart surgery. A hard year just kept getting harder. As time continued to pass and we were so busy with travel to be with family on top of "normal" life, Heather was always a gentle voice letting me know that everything was being handled and that we didn't need to add our wedding to the list of things to worry about. It was such a relief to have her. She was always so kind and compassionate, even when the day was getting close and I was emailing her constantly with questions!  Our big day finally came. I didn't look anything like we imagined when we first got engaged, but it was absolutely perfect. Covid ruined our plan A, but Heather took our plan B and made magic. Our ceremony space was beautiful. She went above and beyond what we had talked about and I was blown away when I arrived. Beyond the coordination, she was also an incredibly fun photographer to work with and her experience and love for what she does is palpable. We got our sneak peek photos the same day and were over the moon. We got the full album back in way less time than expected and are just so in love with the photos. We look through them often to relive the best day that 2020 gave us and our families. We can't thank Heather enough for all of the love and work she put into our wedding.
