Definitely a boardwalk classic! We got the special of the day funnel cake and the Oreo funnel cake. They are extremely sweet, but so good! The vanilla ice cream is what pulls it all together. Out of the two funnel cakes, Oreo was definitely my favorite, as the Oreos added more texture and it paired well with the caramel. Prices are on the higher end, but it's expected at the boardwalk. With no line, it took about 10 minutes for the two funnel cakes to come out.

It's very rare if i don't hit the funnel cake stall when I go to Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. My favorite is the apple pie funnel: cinnamon sugar, apple, caramel and whip cream! They make them fresh. It's still warm when they add the toppings. Sometimes, it's perfect, crisp and fresh. Sometimes, it needs to be cooked just a little bit more or it's cooked just a little bit too long. But, their funnel cakes are much better than Disneyland's and Great America. Original is good too. Strawberry not too bad. It's always best when you share.

This past weekend, we got the Strawberry funnel cake with no whip cream, and added chocolate sauce (which was not on the listed menu, but obviously a must-have). Short line in the evening, went quickly. Standard service at the order counter and pick up window. Several tables and seating on both sides of the food stand (though it's even better enjoying these treats on the actual beach). The funnel cake had a nice crunch on the outside, warm and airy on the inside, the toppings adding the perfect sweetness and combination of flavors. I've never had a bad experience here. My guilty pleasure at the Boardwalk. Yummm!! :)

The cake part was sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long

My wife loves funnel cake and finally gave in and used a cheat meal as an excuse to enjoy this carnival and amusement park staple. I told her to ask them to make it smaller and we would pay the same because the normal size is too big for the amount our family eats. The first warning sign should have been the funnel cakes were pre made and sitting in a case under a heat lamp. When we ordered they took it out of the case, sprinkled powdered sugar on it, spray whip cream on, and jammed two forks into it. The cake itself was not good, it was soft and soggy, like a plain donut that was wet and didn't have any of the expected crunchy shell we were looking for. The kids don't normally get a lot of sugar and will eat it like crazy but they also had a couple bites and didn't want anymore. We ended up throwing about 75% of it away and we hate wasting food.

All I Gotta say is we just went here for the giant dipper and that's it and yet my nephew wanted to shake it took the longest time people went before after us so much, and got their food. The place was so unprofessional and I literally think to myself and I thought when I was standing there, shouldn't these people been wearing hair? That's their hair is so long. I am so thankful that no one got a hair in their food. Otherwise I was gonna straight up make a big fit

I've been craving a funnel cake for days and finally got one! The boardwalk right now is open Thur-Sun. I went around 1:30 and holy cow, super busy. It's last day for schools so they're doing their end of year celebration. Even with how busy it was, the service from the staff was good. They all had masks and were very polite when I was ordering. The funnel cake I got is an Oreo one and holy cowwwwww, so so good! The one thing I regret is not having added the ice cream scoop as it would've made it even more delicious! Highly recommend if you're craving something sweet and sugary

It's great but it tastes like guilt because of the calories hahaha we had the strawberry one. The line actually moved faster than we thought. There might be a little too much cream but it is a good dessert to share on the boardwalk.

Came on a Saturday and there was a good amount of people at the beach. Line to order took about 10-15 mins and another 10 mins until our funnel cake was ready. Got the strawberry chocolate funnel cake with vanilla ice cream and it was so good! Funnel cake was crunchy, strawberries were sweet, together with the whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and ice cream made everything come together perfectly

Had it on Saturday after a hike and wish I'd tried it sooner! Carpo's makes my favorite fish and chips in the area, and Scrumptious is a close second. They use a unique batter, and the fish inside is moist and delicious. I usually pass on fries (chips), but these were amazing. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The curry ketchup is so good, too. The line to order moves quickly and we didn't wait very long for our food - great service at the Humble Sea location. There's plenty of seating in the beer garden, though it can get a bit crowded in the afternoons.

There was a wait time on getting our food pretty busy a lot of the items on the menu were sold out. We ended up getting the fish and chips and rockfish and chips to be honest I would have loved our chips to have some kind of seasoning there were really bland and also the fish didn't have any flavor pretty basic. Overall it was a good amount of food just wish there was more flavors. * potter potty available also I side brewery there is restroom * plenty of parking on the street

Had a great time trying arepas at Pana while at the sharks game on a Thursday night!…read more It's a popular spot that capture a long line because of its live cooking and delicious food. It took about 7-10 minutes for my food to be done. I ordered the Sifrina which is an arepa with shredded chicken, cheese, mayo, and avocado. I've been to Pana before and usually go for the Pabellón arepa, which is also delicious, but this time I tried the Reina Pepiada, and wow. It's made with shredded chicken, mayo, and avocado. The arepa was extra crispy, which I loved. Honestly, even as a Colombian, and someone who grew up eating arepas all my life, I have to say, this Venezuelan version is amazing. Super flavorful and well-balanced. Germán, the owner, was super welcoming as always. He told me they're opening a new location in San José, which is way closer to me, and I'm honestly so excited to visit them there too! The vibe that day was perfect. There was live music playing, people dancing, and I was just sitting there enjoying my arepa in the sun with all that great energy around me. If you haven't tried Pana, you're missing out. The food, the people, the vibe, todo was on point.
