Funky Geisha seemed super cute when we walked in, although it was a bit empty. I had heard great things about the location in Cabo so I was excited to try it. We ordered a wide variety of plates to share, from rolls to tacos to rice and noodle dishes. Overall, everything wasn't bad but it was really overpriced for what it was. We also ordered drinks and they weren't that strong. However, the food came out pretty quickly and the waiters were really nice and understanding with our large party of 10.

Javier was the absolute best. The crab wonton was soooo good, tasteful and filling. My best friend and I ordered sushi for our main course. The dragon roll and the Alaskan fire roll. You can't go wrong with either. The ambiance gives both jungle feel and beach feel and we enjoyed everything and would highly recommend this restaurant when you are in Tulum.

This restaurant is part of the larger Rosa Negra group and was by far the worst. The ground is completely sand which is cool but there are random tree stumps throughout and a sewer before the bathroom that are very hazardous. I wanted the mussels but they were "out" for the last month... it's a digital menu. Take it off as an option. There were also tables that had floor seating and a table hit up running during their mea due to a crab that was loose by their table. As far as the vibe it was the calmest of all the places we'd been so if that's your vibe and you like regular Chinese food/sushi at uncharged prices this is the place for you. Note: they did give a free appetizer which was a nice touch and unfortunately the best thing I had at the dinner.

This literally could be the best place in Tulum. Owned by the famous Rosa Negra group this is their sister restaurant that specializes in Asian inspired dishes. Coming from Vancouver where we are absolutely spoiled with good Asian food, I found Funky Geisha to be just amazing. The food was inspired and delicious. We tried a bunch of items, but he lobster pad Thai was the most memorable with their rolls being a close second. The cocktails were over the top with table side service and fancy garnishes and glasses. This is an entire experience here. The staff were incredibly attentive and efficient. Nobody around when your enjoying your drinks and dinner and then boom someone is there picking up your dishes, cleaning the table or asking how everything is going. 5 stars just on the service alone. This place is going to cost you so be warned but I feel it's totally worth the entire experience and a must go when you're in Trendy Tulum.

Here is what I ordered: - Thai Lettuce Wraps - Lobster Pad Thai - Beef Drunken Noodles Yum yum yum! We needed our fix of Asian food while we were in Mexico! The lettuce wraps were delicious with three different dipping sauces (sweet n sour, soy sauce/oyster sauce & srircha). This came with noodles, carrots, bean sprouts, teriyaki chicken and I'm not sure what the green things are but they were good! I love how you can customize your own lettuce wrap to your liking! I don't like bean sprouts so I didn't put those in. The lobster pad thai came with so much lobster! The price wasn't that bad for the amount of lobster we got! It was a bit sour for my liking :( and not my favorite dish, but still tasty! The shrimp drunken noodles was sweet and interesting! I've never tried drunken noodles before but this was a good experience! They offered us a fried crab cheese wonton on the house with spicy sweet n sour sauce, yum! It was the perfect mix of cream cheese and crab! My friend ordered the drink which I thought was pretty cool with how it was presented! I think she said it was spicy! We were celebrating my friends birthday so they gave us cute little sparklers and a chocolate roll cake, loved it! The restaurant ground is sandy and definitely a unique experience! It was SO tulum with the lamps and I loved it! They have Japanese and Thai cuisine which was pretty interesting! Definitely fine dining, but worth it!

Beautiful ambiance and great service. Food is priced high vs portion and underwhelming. I'll be back for the ambiance hoping to see the show next time.

The vibes... the food... definitely a nice place to check out. We stumbled upon this place on a Sunday night and just in time for the show. They brought out the light show & the dancers! They were out of half of the menu lol but the items we tried were pretty tasty. The fried rice was bomb as well as the drunken noodles. The service could have been better but overall I had a blast!

Here we go. I must say, this location is literally amazing. I tried hard to see if this location is worthy of its single review. And I must ultimately say I am extremely happy and overly satisfied with the service and food. I was literally shocked at the atmosphere and quality of food. Extremely recommended!! Everything from the food to the hookah. This is a must try location for it's atmosphere and servers like a Patricio!! I cannot explain in words how incredible this experience was with the ambience, food, service and overall experience. I hope everyone else that comes to this restaurant has just as good of an experience. I will definitely be back to Mexico and 100% this restaurant with the hookah and food. 10/10 experience in my book. Must see and visit location!!

This place was a vibeeeeee. Extremely chill, cool spot with good music. The food was good, I enjoyed everything but the shrimp skewer. The shrimp was over cooked and chewy with this pungent orange sauce on it tht was so bad. But the rice was 4/5 soup was 5/5 & spicy which I loved. Hookah was good tho but at $80 it better be lol overall it was a nice experience on the strip.

This place is super cute. We went on a friday night and it was more chill than some of the places blasting music and strobe lights which is why we chose it. That as well as the amazing vegan menu they offer. We had the beet starter which was very good with a little spicy kick, the eggplant lotus root, which was good but make sure to ask for lots of extra lotus roots for dipping. The mushroom Curry which we loved and the fried tofu dish, the sauce is the key here, make sure to use it! So good. Margaritas were also on point. And they had a ton of other great specialty cocktails that looked good although we didn't get to try them on this visit. The service was very friendly and helpful. I would suggest wearing flat shoes or a wedge as the floor here is all loose rocks, looks very cute but a little hard to walk on. Would go again and suggest. Good for groups.

High hopes, bad execution This place, you walk in and you feel like you are about to have an amazin food experience, but unfortunately while they have attentive service and an awesome vibe, the food just does not live up. First things first, we got seating on an elevated platform, and had to sit on pillows, and it was ok for like 5 minutes but after that it was uncomfortable. I had asked to be moved to a normal table with normal chairs, but they couldnt oblige for our party of 3. The food itself... visually appealing, but the drunken noodles were BAD, they just used pd thai noodles overly sweet sauce (it tasted fine for a couple bites), but for what they charge... it is just not great I asked for medium spice, and they all did was cut up raw chillies and put then on top ‍

Korean spicy noodles with tofu, and Penang curry with sea food.

They were open in a different location before, closed for a while, and opened again at 15th and 8, across from the Palacio Municipal. The restaurant is nice, comfortable and covered in pin up girl art. Service was friendly and our server spoke English well. The menu is mostly different Asian dishes-Thai, Vietnamese, Indian-with a couple of European options thrown in. My group all ordered appetizers to share and Asian entrees (Thai curry, curry noodles, Pad Thai), and everyone was happy. My favorite appetizer was the dumplings, but the samosas and satay were also good. My entree was red curry noodles with chicken. The regular size was a lot of food, with very tasty sauce and well cooked chicken and veggies. The grilled pineapple was a nice addition. The spice level was hot enough for me, but the addition of their house habanero sauce kicked it up nicely. The premium margaritas were also good. I would definitely go again and will enjoy the leftovers.

The menu is focused on their specialty, HOMEMADE noodles! So delicious. We ordered 4 different dishes, all were scrumptious. The friendly server made great recommendations. The pad thai was a bit more savory but tasty, it was my favorite.  The garlic peanut noodles had a thick sauce and was good. The other favorite was the green curry noodles, light and flavorful! The best place to enjoy a yummy meal. We ate outdoors with a view of the Christmas decorations in the city Square and inside there was a vibrant d.j. with muted dance music, excellent vibes! Excellent service, food and ambiance.

Food was decent! They brought out special dessert to celebrate special occasion. Really loved it. Second visit: We walked in for dinner, busy. I was looking forward to dinner but it was about an hour and I gave up. We got up and informed the front that the wait was too long and other tables after us received better service. Things happen. I preferred the other maki we got. - Maguro Spicy Maki - Bibimbap - Lo Mein - this portion was really big in my opinion and they give a lot of protein. - Banana Mille Feuille - a bit dense for me. my least favorite dessert we had at the resort.
