Securing the services of the Law Offices of David Lee, was by far the best decision I have made…read more From beginning to end, David performed with the utmost professionalism, and his expertise clear to me from the moment he spoke. Attorney services generally come at times of difficulty, but David Lee provided peace of mind and reassurance, throughout the entire process. He knew just how to handle everything about my case in court. My previous lawyer couldn't compare in the slightest. Normally I don't spend time writing reviews unless the experience was very bad, but this time I had to write about the good! The cost compared to the quality of work, I felt was a huge value. If you are in need of an attorney, do yourself a favor and go with this firm. I only wish I did from the start.

I went to meet with David once in person with my aunt who was using him as a divorce attorney. I…read morealso spoke to him on the phone a few times with my aunt present and a few times when my aunt had me just sit and listen to him. First thing we met him in person, he was smoking an e-cigarette the whole time which we found very unprofessional. Then, every single time, he was on the phone or in person, he would constantly talk about how he helped his other clients and tell us these long stories about them such as, " I once had a client who...", these conversations, which we would try to cut short, he just kept talking about. This wasted so much of my aunt's money because afterwards, David would charge her for the entire time which is very, very unethical. Then, my aunt decided that she wanted to do "discovery " on her soon to be ex-husband. David received the documents and told my aunt for her and I to go through them to see if we could find any money out of place that her ex-husband was trying to steal. Her and I did find this "missing money " and showed it to David. At that visit, he then said, yes, I saw that also and we need to meet in person to go over all the documents by each line. We told him that we weren't doing that because her and I already did. He charged her so much money and wasted so much of her time so he could get more money from her, I've never seen anything like it. Then, one of the last times he met with my aunt, he told her to be careful about sharing her information with people. He said," you know someone could take advantage of you, like Missy". And my aunt and I both knew that I wasn't asking for anything from her, I was helping her. Then, he told her how much money she would get and at the end of the day, the actual figures that he came up with was no where near what she actually received. A few months after the finishing of the divorce, David actually had the nerve to call my aunt and tell her that she needed to rehire him so he could help her out with annual documents. Thank goodness she told him no. I'm still trying to decide if I want to call the ABA on him and file a formal complaint. This is a terrible experience and only trying to hold on for as much money as he could possibly get. Do not go to him, or it will cost you an arm and a leg and my aunt could have gone to someone else who was much more accurate!

He Told us behind closed doors right before we hit the stand a lot of fluff that sounded okay and like we had a middle ground, then when we hit the stand crucified me and demonized me. He tried making it sound like I was a risk to my son and a ton of other stuff. Even though I had a ton of people talk to him who have seen me and my son together and they all swore I was great with the kid, even another GAL swore how I was with him. He was not impartial he completely sided with the mother even after all the facts said I wasn't a risk to the child. He argued with medical professionals opinions using his "non existent" medical degrees to back his opinions. Then after the case he hit us with a huge bill that was never talked about once. He never brought up an hourly rate, never a estimate, nothing. He led me to believe that the 500.00 me and my ex paid were his fee. Never once hinting at more money owed. When I confronted him on the phone about it his reply was " I never had to tell you". Do not use these people! No integrity.

They were extremely INSISTENT collecting their fee ASAP, adamant on receiving FULL payment. They were very good at collecting payment, called us until all was paid. Yet 8 months later the run away parent has not even been served AND to get in contact with them to make an appointment is VERY hard. They only do phone appointments, not in person so there is no way to contact your our lawyer Caroline Powell. Her assistant Leticia Ruiz it incompetent and awfully rude. In 8 months Leticia has answered our calls 3 times with an unwarranted attitude. Upset because we have questions about the status of my case. Caroline is a good and smart lawyer but with such bad services we have only been able to speak to her about 3 times in the 8 months. If you miss the phone call for you appointment - thats it. You need to make another appointment and WAIT MORE. They had my phone number wrong in their system so it took 3 months to solve that issue. When I call back the phone attendant does not know anything and sends us to voice mails. If they cannot serve the other parent within the year, they may drop our case. So their negligence will not only cause me to loose my children, but also the considerable payment I made. I wish they offered better customer service, better updates on the case and actual results as their process has been incredibly slow and ineffective. I understand my case is not at their priority but it is mine as it is to every family who hires them. I have lost confidence in them and now wish I would have gone to a different lawyer. I have asked to speak with the manager and have requested for Kirk Ellsworth to call me back and up u til this day I am still waiting. IF YOU WANT RESULTS, FIND ANOTHER LAWYER.
