It was nice and cool on a hot day yesterday when I was on the treadmill and the same this morning when I went to lift. Very clean, new equipment, varied equipment, the weights were all arranged appropriately (VERY important to my brain), friendly and easy check in process, nice spin studio, seemingly a good class offering, and so not crowded at all. Having belonged to or visited gyms all over the country, this is by far one of the best. I sure hope to be back soon while my hotel is still under construction:)

They are now charging me for an extra month when I am no longer living in the state after being a member in good standing for several years. In a lot of ways, it's your standard PF; a lot of cardio and machines mixed with some free weights. My biggest complaint would be the men's locker room. It wasn't nearly as nice or large as the other others I've visited. But it still got the job done. I'm not quite sure where all of the hate is coming from but I give it a solid three stars.

The problem is the sheer number of people and this location's complete inability to handle the volume. This gym is always packed. It doesn't matter if it's a Saturday morning, a Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., or any other time of day. The odds of the machine you need actually being available are slim to none. The locker room and bathroom facilities also seem to have been built for maybe ten adults, yet there are regularly 20 to 30 people packed inside waiting to use them. It's miserable to navigate, and your workout constantly suffers because of it. I travel for work and have been to more Planet Fitness locations than I care to admit. This is, without question, the worst one I've experienced. I won't be returning to this location. I'm writing this review as much to remind myself as anything else. Dear Planet Fitness corporate: build three more Planet Fitness locations in New Hampshire north of Manchester. There are far more people up here than you seem to think. John and Mike are wonderful trainers, and the gym is a very welcoming place. I am always energized after a workout, whereas before I might have just gone back to the room and slept. This will be my home away from home as long as I am in Concord. I'm looking forward to the nutritional guidance as well.
