I felt the doctor was not listening to my concerns and that my sole purpose was to help pay the office's overhead. I got a recommendation for a new doctor who had just joined one of the Baxter Health clinics. Dr Chesley Murphy provides excellent and compassionate care. He takes the time to listen and talk through various treatment options. In my case, based on initial blood test results, he recommended I see Dr Zak (another excellent doctor) for further evaluation. After further testing I was diagnosed with CMML, an uncommon form of leukemia. I owe this diagnosis and continued treatment to Dr Murphy. I talked to two or three different clinics in the area and they all had higher self pay prices and told me they couldn't get me in for at least two weeks. Mary not only has the most affordable prices but was able to get me in right away. I was already impressed by that before I came in and after my first visit, I'm even more impressed. She is SO kind, right away, as soon as I walked in, she was genuinely interested in me as a person, not just a patient. She took the time to visit with me and get to know me and listen to what I had to say. She made the appointment feel so relaxing, as if we were talking in her living room as friends and not in a clinic at all. I normally feel nervous and can't stand going to the doctor. I didn't feel nervous one time with Mary and I think I'll actually look forward to my appointments for the first time in my life. If you're looking for affordable, easy going, and a care provider who truly cares about you, this is your place. :)

Dr. Rosenberger recently started at Mountain Home ENT, so I thought it'd be best to leave my review here since he is no longer in Texas. Surgery went very well! He answered all my questions, before and after surgery. He was very polite & professional. Very good bedside manner. My last follow up appointment was in January 2023, and at that time, my nose looked fine. Still slightly swollen but that was expected. Other than that, he said I was all good! I didn't need to come back for anymore follow ups! I can breathe!!! Even if my nose is stuffed up, I STILL get airflow!! He did an amazing job with fixing my turbinates & septum! Apparently, I was all jacked up inside my nose! haha! BEST decision to get that done. Come July 2023 I noticed a significant physical change & sent the doctor photos of the deformity. It did take a while for someone to get back to me, I had to email them a second time - then Rosenberger said all I needed was 1/3 syringe of filler to fix it up. Cost was reasonable but I couldn't make an appointment at the time for personal reasons. Well, no one told me Rosenberger was leaving Texas, so I wasn't rushed to make the appointment. It's September 2023 and he's gone. He is now here at Mountain Home. I was very disappointed, I wish I had just made the damn appointment right then and there because now I can't get it fixed by him. The replacement at his previous location in Austin told me should cannot do filler on my nose. She recommended another board certified plastic surgeon which will charge me $1,750 for filler, regardless of how much he uses!!! And filler doesn't even last that long!! I'd have to pay that every time?? I'm so upset right now... I'm not too happy with the rhinoplasty results of Dr. Rosenberger's surgery, and now he's too far to have it fixed by him at a MUCH LOWER rate! Don't get me wrong, I do NOT regret going to him to have my surgery! Sh*t just happens sometimes... As you can see in the images, how badly the indention looks on the left side of my nose. The right side is okay so far. The tip isn't what I wanted, it's still bulbous & still points downwards - however, he did lift it a bit from where it was before. I was really hoping it'd look more like the photoshopped photos, especially the profile but it's never guaranteed to look like the morphed photos the doctor shows you. Sorry this is so long, but I needed to share.

Have been to them twice. First time was with tonsil stones. Spent less than 10 minutes and told me…read morethere was nothing he could do and to gargle with a hydrogen peroxide and water solution and maybe they would go away but if not, at my age, I would just have to learn to live with them. Went back a week or so ago concerning nosebleeds and was wanting him to cauterize a polyp in my right nostril which is a very common procedure. After his assistant spent maybe 5 minutes looking in my nose with a small flashlight she said she did not see anything wrong and that it may be my blood pressure causing it. After I insisted, Dr Neis came in and looked with a scope and said he did not see anything either and said that I could try a Saline solution and Afrin. That was it and I left. 30 minutes after I got home I had another nosebleed. I am very displeased by the lack of professional concern they showed and I will never go back.

When you first go to see Dr. Scribner, you meet his PA, Carson. Carson seems to fancy himself…read morequite the ladies' man wearing way too tight pants and acts like a physician. The problem with this is that he doesn't take notes and you end up having to retell your health situation over again to Dr. Scribner. I typically have a good relationship with my health care providers; so I was surprised that I could not relate to Dr. Scribner. He was unavailable on every level. I found Dr. Scribner to be cold, disinterested and unhelpful. I talked to others - this is a very small town - who shared with me that they had like experiences and recommended other providers who were actually warm and relateable. I would not recommend Dr. Scribner; his attitude and lack of bedside manner leaves one feeling like they don't actually have a doctor. And, if you owe anything on your account, you will be hounded relentlessly by daily phone calls, voicemails and emails. I guess his patient load isn't so big that his staff has plenty of time to pester patients over small amounts. One star is one star too many.

I visited the office of Dr. John Scribner, MD last week to get a sore on my hand treated. All of…read morethe nurses and staff I encountered were pleasant and efficient. Since I had been to this office twice before in the last five years, I was not surprised by the doctor's youthful appearance as he entered the exam room. I was again impressed by his caring and compassion. He asked relevant questions and listened intently to my answers. After his examination of the sore he informed me that I needed to have a simple surgical procedure to remove it and also told me that some people would rather have something like this taken care of by a dermatologist. He asked what I would prefer. I asked when he could do it and he said that he could take care of it in the next few minutes. I was impressed that I wouldn't have to make another appointment and return on a different day. I gave consent for the surgery, the nurse set up everything that was needed, and the procedure was done in a very short time. The wound is now healing nicely and I don't anticipate any problems. Dr. Scribner is a valuable asset to this community.
