I want to start off by saying, this place feels like it's years behind the power curve. I did an online registration for my daughter, she was transferring in from out of state. Even with doing that two weeks in advance, it still took another week before she started school. That was frustrating in itself. Then on the registration, I updated all the contact information based on who can pick her up from school. I did not add her father because she does not have contact with him as he abandoned her years ago. What did these people do? They went off her birth certificate and added him as a contact with authorization to pick her up. Myself nor my mother authorized for this contact to be added. So now if he somehow finds this out and something happens to my daughter that will be on the school for taking it upon theirselves to add him.
I will be thrilled once this semester is up and I can pull my daughter out of this school district and bring her back to her old school.
I did give one star for the few people I have been in contact with that have actually been of huge help. I appreciate someone doing their job and have the willingness to help opposed to just treating someone like they are being bothered.
