I was there 4/1/2025 to get approval of a POA for my father, teller was awesome even though my…read moreappointment was for 1, I arrived at 11:00 in case of cancelation. The teller took my issue to a manager who was willing to take my paperwork to get started, prior to his 11 am appointment. When I presented my copy of my father's POA he rudely told me, "I can't do this, need original." I explained I was from out of town and my father, not in his right mind had lost the original, to which his reply was company policy, must have original, wasn't his reply but the attitude with which I was told that policy. I explained that I had zero problem at Fulton bank with the same circumstances, again he replied with attitude, I can't help you without original. This was my first encounter with Wells Fargo, and will be my last, instead of offering some solution I was given attitude and an unfriendly attitude. I recommend anyone that needs any situation like mine plan for the future, and go to another institution, fortunately didn't need this right then, I would have been stuck. I then went directly to my father's attorney, to get this straightened out, which he is working on for the future. Shame on you for your customer service, Wells Fargo. I've long been a fan of Belco since they first came to town in the early 90's. I've always…read moreappreciated the member services they offer, free checking, loans,member events, and educational seminars. I also like their online banking although they do change it often and preferred earlier versions to what they have now. They also offer online bill pay through a third party which has been problematic at times. While this location is close to work, it's not the one I frequent most often. However with "my branch" having so many unexpected closings due to maintenance issues as of late I find myself coming here more and more. I prefer to visit the lobby for faster service and rarely is there a line. The drive thru does take longer here since they don't have a designated drive thru teller and she shuttles back and forth between walk in and drive thru customers. This location also has a coin sorter. Something my regular branch doesn't have. It's been many years since I've used it but when I did it was required that I deposit the balance. I'm not sure if that has changed. Included in Belco membership is all the cool events they host for their members that goes above and beyond what a bank will do. Free Easter Egg hunts for the kids, Safari club rewards for small savers, as well as educations seminars and services. I've now been a member for about 25 years and it's safe to say will remain a member for life unless they move away from this area.

Because I was going to squeeze in opening my account in between running errands I called to make sure I had everything I needed. A live person (who I believe was the bank manager) answered the phone, not a menu or queque. Already I was impressed. When I pulled up they were waiting on me and immediately Stephanie went to work opening my account. While she was definitely sales driven telling me about all the services they offered, she was relatable, professional, and friendly. Although they closed while I was there I never felt like the staff was rushing to get me out the door. In fact my experience was quite the opposite as I felt like the most important person in the room. They really know how to make a great first impression and with rates like that I'm going drag the hubby in when his current credit union CD expires. Hopefully the warm fuzzy feeling continues.

I purchased a vehicle from Krietz Auto in Frederick Md back in august of 2023. While purchasing…read morethis vehicle Krietz had my lender as Fulton bank (not my choice). I of course recieved a payment booklet with payment stubs along with preprinted address labels to mail my payments to Fulton. Which of course I began doing so as payments were due. July of this year 2025 my bad experiences began when I was called by a representative from Fulton called me. She said that they had not received my payment. I then of course while on the phone with her checked my bank statement and the check I issued was not cashed. So I payed my payment over the phone while incuring a late charge of $139.15 which I paid. To only find in my mailbox days later is the returned envelope with Fulton's preprinted address label still on it saying that the address was incorrect "return to sender". Needless to say I was not happy given that this turns out was Fulton's fault on the lost payment yet I paid the late charge. I then decided to call Fulton and set up autopay (not a easy task). I filled out the forms and was assured everything was set for the next month. Now mind you I did not even bother asking for my late charge to be refuned (I should have). I then mark my calender for the next payment due date to keep a eye on my bank account. Would you know the autopay did not go through so I then had to call and start the process over again. What I want everyone to know to this point I have been paying $1,000 a month over my minimal payment due since October of 2024. I went through the entire autopay process again and was assured it was taken care of. Well like before I made sure to check my bank account on the autopay due date which as November 29, 2025. Given that fell on the weekend I checked Monday December 1, 2025. This is where the absolute INSANE action was discovered! The good news was that autopay worked this time. Bad news is Fulton bank took my minimum payment amount $1,391.46 (not the $2,391.46 requested). I then see Fulton bank also withdrew a additional $56,684.46 from my account causing of course a over draw of $37,000 dollars. Needless to say I was beyone angry and called Fulton immediately! To then sit on hold for 1 hour and 48 minutes before a representative came on. From this moment forward it all became apparent that this bank could CARELESS about their clients! I spent my entire monday (missed work) on the phone with 4 different people and got no where! I then had to drive to my bank for help and my bank was able to stop payment and give me my money back. The only reason this was possible is because I caught the THEFT prior to them taking hold of my funds. I of course incurred fee's lost a entire day of work and so much anxiety to endore after a thanksgiving holiday! Here is what Fulton offered me as a solution. A $100 dollar gift card for them stealing my funds and never at any point getting what was requested for a autopay months earlier! The last gentleman I spoke to was Kenny Keogh and to be frank he could careless what I was put through. Be well aware of the kind of service this bank offer's. In my experience they will gladly steal your money for a simple fee of a $100 gift card and a sorry! STAY AWAY FROM FULTON BANK!!

They are a true local bank and one of the few in this area that didn't change hands and sell out to a national competitor. With plenty of locations and online banking it's easy to access your account. Customer service has always been helpful and the branch managers always treat business account holders like gold. Recently I had to resolve an issue on a personal level concerning a Fulton drawn check. The branch I deal with professionally was able to assist me. It did take some time for resolution, but ultimately what I went in there for was accomplished. Four stars because if you call the 800 # you end up in call center que. While they do their best to assist you sometimes you just need someone from the branch. They also charge a $5 check cashing fees for non account holders. SIDENOTE: the East Petersburg branch is often hard to get in/out of but there is a back entrance. You might need to make a few extra turns but during rush hour that's your only option.
