I tried to assemble the products and I was having a hard time getting it to work. The owners son was so nice and went out of his way to help us in the parking lot even though the store was closed. Unfortunately, stuff happens and the tank wound up being faulty. After a few days of minimal communication because of my job, Khan did everything he could to reach out to me and rectified the situation. I will definitely go out of my way to purchase from this shop again. Thank you so much!

By far the best eCig shop I've found in the city…read more First of all, I should tell you about the people: These eCigs aren't all that complicated, but when you don't have a clue at what your looking at, the options and terminology can get a bit overwhelming. This is where the folks at Hot Vapes shine -- they are awesome. Unlike other shops I'd been to, everyone here was amazingly helpful, patient, and didn't make me feel like an idiot because I didn't have a graduate degree in electrical engineering. They walked me through all the options, from the basic kits on up to the advanced stuff. They explained the differences and didn't try to "up-sell" me to the expensive equipment -- instead, they helped me find the device that fit me best. Next, there's the equipment: They have most everything you'd want -- from super basic stuff, to the the advanced, and everything in between. I ended up falling somewhere in the middle and picked up an iTaste SVD ... It's easy to use, lets you customize power settings to adjust the vapor levels and taste, and is really durable. It also holds a couple different types of rechargeable batteries -- I use a large one for when I'm at work which lasts a day or two between charges, and a smaller one when I'm heading out for the night and want something a bit more discreet. Finally, there's the "Juice" or eLiquid: THEY HAVE THEIR OWN LAB! They have somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 different flavors to choose from, a tasting station where you can try them all, and are great at helping you find something you'll like. They make everything to order, so you may have to wait 5-10 minutes, but it's well worth the wait. You can also ask them to "customize" the flavors a bit if you want. For people trying to find a replacement for a "real" cigarette, they have the only liquid I've found that actually gives you the taste of an actual cigarette -- not just a tobacco leaf flavor, but something that comes amazingly close to the burning paper and tobacco taste you'd get from the real deal. It's called... get this: ILLUSION. So, on to the con: They have a sign, but it's on the inside and only visible if you're looking through their front window. On my first attempt to find them, I gave up. On my second attempt, I passed them twice despite my GPS telling me when I'd arrived. Guys! Get a sign on the OUTSIDE of the building. *** Update *** - No more cons! They have a sign! Bottom line: Great people, amazing selection of flavors, good selection of eCigs and equipment. They're my official go-to and the best shop in the city.

By far the worst vape store I went to. I opened a vape in shop took a hit and it was fine. I walk 1…read morestep outside and it stops working. Go back into the store to show the guy and he argues with me about putting it on the charger. I explain to him that I've never in my life had to plug a vape in right after getting it. He says come back later and I'll do an even exchanged. so I come back after I get off of work and still end up having to pay for a new one when all I wanted to do was exchanged it. so my one trip to this store ended up costing me $60 i will not be going back here and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of the horrible customer service that happened here.

GAY MEN DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO CRUISE, HOOK UP, OR HAVE AN ADULT GOOD TIME, YOU…read moreWILL BE GREATLY DISAPPOINTED!!! GLORY HOLES COVERED UP AN POLICY IS ONE PERSON PER BOOTH, SEEMINGLY STRICTLY ENFORCED. OK, to be fair this is an above average adult shop if you are looking for basic adult video store no arcade. However, my review is really in regards to its video arcade. No glory holes, no buddy booths, and it seems owner is actively discouraging gay cruising activity, which from a business standpoint is financially foolish, especially considering they could easily charge ten to twenty dollars for arcade access and let consisting adults have adult fun, but instead there is only one person per booth, no glory holes, no buddy booths, and basically no fun, and signs read violators will be asked to leave. It seem to be a strict policy, which is odd considering this is an adult shop with an arcade. Actually, it seemed like they did have glory holes in the past and for some fiscally irresponsible reason they covered them up. Its a shame when adult shops can't be adult shops, its like taking a great porn muting it, censoring the nudity, and not showing the money shot. Honestly, the shop would do better using the space for something other than an arcade, maybe fantasy and fetish adult costumes or something, because the arcade is a big dud. But all is not lost there are plenty of other adult bookstores in IL that have open glory holes and are great for gay cruising such as Ram, Bare Assets, Star ship Video, and of course Steamworks to name few, just sucks to not be able to have one nearby.
