I really love the staff here. They are always super sweet to me and my toddler. Very easy to get appointments. Hardly any wait time.

She wouldn't be able to drive herself to these doctors after general anesthesia and one eye covered with a bulky patch. Peninsula Dermatology & Skin Cancer Surgery Center in Newport News was the first stop for the MOAS Procedure. This microsurgery removes a single layer of skin cells and examines each to determine if the suspect cells are gone, or if another layer must be taken off. She was lucky to require only one dermis layer to be removed when she was advised a second would not be required. The medical assistant who took charge of prepping her for the surgery was friendly and supremely competent. She escorted sister into the operating room, helped her complete the forms and introduced her to the surgeon, and further assisted as appropriate in the O. R. It was she who returned to us in the inner waiting room to give the happy news that we could now move on to part two of this day's agenda - the reconstruction of the eyelid. The only rub with Act II was that we had to travel to Richmond (about 90 miles away) to accomplish this feat. Thus, my role as chauffeur. Please check on Virginia Oculofacial Surgeons page for the end of this story. FIVE STARS for the quality, expertise and humanity of Peninsula Dermatology and Skin Cancer Surgery Center. They got us off to an auspicious start.

The week before my appointment I received numerous text and emails reminding me of my appointment. they even scheduled a Medicare Wellness appointment for the same day. the reminders gave instructions on what to bring to the appointment and to arrive 15 minutes before the appointment. they asked me to check in online. well the day of my appointment arrived an as I was preparing to leave my house I received a phone call telling me that my appointment had been cancelled. when I asked why they said they were no longer accepting Humana Insurance. I asked why they waited until an hour before the appointment time and the lies began. I have been using the insurance at Riverside for the last 3 years. Did they just stop using it at 9:am on the day of my appointment? I offered to pay for the visit in cash. she refused saying they couldn't take cash. No apology was offered for the last minute cancellation. just rudeness and even got the phone hung up on me because I was upset. this was handled poorly by the office staff. they let me know that they didn't care that I had an appointment and wanted to see a doctor for my health. It's amazing how people treat you when they think they are in charge.

She has been rude to myself, my husband, & my father for a year now & all 3 of us were patients. Not anymore. We will spend our hard earned money elsewhere. She has been absent AT BEST with my 89 yo father who has Dementia & she didn't even update his health records to show he has it. I asked her for his diagnosis for his physical therapist & she got nasty with me for asking & when I returned the attitude she told me she would no longer see my father because of MY behavior. My behavior? I only matched your tone Darcy. I didn't curse, I didn't yell, I didn't call you any names. I simply told you to go check your AI notes so that you could see that what you told me is what you told me because you are trying to deny saying things you've said. I'll NEVER go to this office again as long as she is employed there so you are losing not one but 3 patients over this.

My niece waited over a month for her paperwork (afterwads she got a new doctor) and my mother on 2 occasions had to go back to the office or call several times to get her prescriptions filled out. My mother's case they were suppose to send the prescription to her pharmacy, she went to pick up the medication the next day and was told the prescriptions were not sent in. Then she went to the office to get the hard copy and told they would call her back when b it was ready. After several hours of waiting she called back to be told by the receptionist the doctor has not gotten to it yet and when asked when to expect the prescription my mother was told the receptionist did not know. Come on now we are talking about a person's health and a order of French fries. I am not looking to get my mother and aunt a new doctor. A doctor who can get things done in an acceptable manner of time and one that does not have such restrictive office hours. The only reason I gave the office 2 stars instead of 1 was because the doctor was nice. If I ever find out the office time management changes I will change my rating ,but for now, sorry I WOULD NOT recommend this office to anyone for care.

My mom was his patient until I witnessed the poor treatment she received not only by Dr Graham but his two receptionists. My mom is now under my Drs care (TPMG) and her vital signs have been improving tremendously. She has high blood pressure and has had a few emergency visits to the hospital but now her blood pressure is under control due to my Dr providing her with the proper medicine. Dr Graham just kept her on the same meds knowing she was in bad shape. He also took my friend off of her blood pressure medication and she had a heart attack three days later. My father died of congestive heart failure and was under Dr Graham's care. I believe my dad would still be here today if he had a different Dr. If you want your loved one to have the best care possible please DO NOT take them to this Dr.
