I hate to compare dogs to children but they can be just as antsy and hard to photograph. Not only did she capture some amazing moments of just us humans, but of us and our dog as well. She's completely warm and has her own family, so she knows how to capture families at their best.

It was a fun time and I was so impressed at how the pictures turned out - she made me look gorgeous!! When I heard she was coming back to Hawaii for a week of photo sessions, I jumped at the chance to see if she could fit me in for a maternity session. Lucky me, she had an opening. Prior to the session, she sent me pictures and gave me ideas of what I could wear and we discussed possible locations. She was more than accomidating to travel anywhere and even suggested a time change to get better lighting and less people. The session was so fun and relaxing and Kim even got down in the sand to show me how she wanted me to pose. The hour went by so fast and it felt like I was just hanging out with an old friend. She showed me some pictures on her camera, and by that night, she had a few sneak peaks up on the web! I was originally hesitant to take maternity pictures, but after seeing the pictures that Kim captured of me, I was so glad that I did it. Kim has a gift to capture the beauty of a person and make them look their best. I look forward to the next time she comes back to Hawaii to do another photo session with her!!

It's not easy to photograph a couple and a pack of spirited pups, but Ray pulled it off effortlessly. His attention to detail, creative direction, and calm presence turned what could have been a chaotic session into a fun and memorable outing. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful--natural, heartfelt, and full of personality. He managed to catch those little in-between moments that really reflect who we are as a couple and as a family. If you're looking for a photographer who is not only technically skilled but also kind, thoughtful, and passionate about what he does, we highly recommend Ray at Invenium Images Photography.
