I came in knowing I had a few fillings that needed to be done and the Dr was very patient and explained the different options (needed and optional) and the front desk walked me through the payment options. The procedures itself was smooth riding. I was in the chair for 2 hours and almost fell asleep. She made sure you were comfortable throughout and I was able to scratch my nose a few times. Staff are all very kind and personal. Highly recommend!

I still had pending treatment that I put off due to a loss in the family, and hadn't been back in quite a while. Then one day, my office gets a call from them that went like this: My coworker "thank you for calling how can I help?" Soothing "I'm calling in regard to mutual patient (my name)" Coworker "uh yes, you know she works here too, right?" Soothing "Yes, I am aware. Do you know when she will get the rest of her cavities filled?" Now, this is technically not a HIPAA violation as I am a patient of both practices, but it was very off putting to have a medical office call my place of work regarding my personal treatment. I would have preferred if she would not have disclosed what she was calling about and just ask to speak with me instead. Up until then I was pretty satisfied with the work I had gotten done, and absolutely loved the assistant who helped me- she advocated for me to have more nitrous (I am VERY anxious about dental treatment), and that I am deeply appreciative of. TL;DR: good office is you are only a patient! I highly doubt they would call YOUR place of work, but this is just my experience!

Dr. Patel and her staff are amazingly wonderful!!…read more I had a really insightful experience with this holistic dental practice. They took the time to look beyond just my teeth and helped me understand how airway blockage was impacting my sleep quality and overall health. I had no idea that my nighttime grinding and not feeling fully rested could be connected to restricted airflow. They recommended a custom Homeo therapeutics block (kind of like a mouthguard) designed to help expand my airway, improve breathing, and create more space for my tongue while I sleep. Since learning about this connection, everything has made so much more sense--not just for improving my sleep, but also for reducing that constant tired look during the day. I also appreciated their integrative approach, including Hocatt ozone therapy as a detox treatment, which I'm now incorporating along with my routine dental cleanings. I felt so refreshed and energized afterward. It truly feels like they focus on whole-body wellness, not just dentistry. I'm excited about the potential long-term benefits, from improved sleep to even subtle facial changes, like better support in the cheek area. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a more holistic, root-cause approach to dental and airway health.

Nevertheless, she asked me why I was calling. You don't review your messages before calling someone back? On top of this, she was rude, short, unfriendly, and uncooperative. She told me Soto is only doing cosmetic and no general dentistry now. Told her I need 4-6 implant crowns. She said he's only doing veneers and full smile makeovers. Are crowns not cosmetic? I don't know how these people get hired with such abysmal people skills. In any event, I won't ever know if his work is any good or not, only that this office staff was a huge turn-off. Train your employees properly, people. They are a reflection of you and your business.

Now we have moved back to CA but we live in East Bay 40 miles away but we would still drive 1 hour each way just to see her and her son, Dr. Andrew. I didn't have the best teeth growing up and I only had one cavity ever since I started going to Dr. Jang. Dr. Jang is not only diligent, experienced but also really caring. She truly cares about her patients, so professional and honest. She explains everything to me with upmost patience and never tries to force anything I don't need on me. She is the most likable, ethical and kind doctor I have ever met. Her staff Cindy, the assistant has been with her ever since I've going there, super nice and efficient. And her front desk receptionist Kim, is always very accommodating and friendly. And her office is in the heart of the Union Square right next to Macy's so it's very convenient for parking. She renovated it a few years ago and is super clean and pleasant. I am so grateful for my old colleague who referred me to her 21 years ago. They make dental appointments like a breeze. I would give six stars if I could! Thank You Dr. Jang!

After losing my dental insurance, I enrolled in Denti-Cal and was referred to Dr. Liu. My first…read morevisit in August 2023 lasted about 40 minutes and included a cleaning and X-rays. Dr. Liu told me everything looked healthy, with no cavities or concerns. Since Denti-Cal allows only one cleaning and set of X-rays per year, I returned in August 2024 for another cleaning and X-rays. However, this appointment felt rushed, lasting only 15-20 minutes, and I had to remind her about the X-rays. Despite mentioning sensitivity in several areas, she again said everything looked fine. In January 2025, my sensitivity worsened, and I called her office--only to learn she had been on maternity leave for months and would not return until June 2025. While trying to find a new dentist, I discovered that Denti-Cal had been billed for six fillings--three in 2023 and three in 2024--despite no such work being done. When I asked Dr. Liu about this, she gave multiple conflicting explanations and repeatedly assured me she would correct the issue. However, despite months of follow-ups, nothing was actually done, and each time I reached out, I was met with a new excuse or delay. She also claimed she would contact my new Denti-Cal dentist to clear up the discrepancy but never actually did, causing further unnecessary delays. I eventually decided to see a private dentist and requested my records from Dr. Liu's office. Shockingly, I was told that my 2024 X-rays had been irreversibly deleted and that the rest of my 2024 chart had only been updated recently (March 2025), long after my appointment. I found it extremely concerning that my X-rays were supposedly lost due to an "accidental" click, especially since no notes from that visit had been entered until months later. Because of this, I had to pay $350 for new X-rays and experienced months of delays in treatment. I can't help but wonder if the missing records would have shown the early signs of the issues I now face. Dr. Liu eventually contacted Denti-Cal to correct the billing issue, but by then, it was too late--I had already paid out-of-pocket for my care. Had my records been properly maintained and my concerns addressed in a timely manner, I could have received appropriate treatment months ago without unnecessary expenses and stress. If you have been a patient here, I strongly recommend reviewing your insurance claims for accuracy. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office.
