FuentesManila is a full-service PR agency and one that I consider as the best. I do not work for this company so what I am about to share here is just based on my experience when I attended an event that they have organized.
I came as a representative of our bloggers' group and was assigned to cover the media launch of Pampers Baby Dry. I came with my two-year-old son as the event is meant for moms and children who are still using diapers. I was so glad to have been invited to that event because my son has been a long-time Pampers user. I love how they sent us a personalized invite which has my name and son's photo in it, in addition to the generic and formal invite that they sent days before. I felt very special. Okay, that maybe too shallow for you. I felt giddy about it because I'm someone who delights receiving personalized stuff. The little things! Imagine how happy I was when I saw my son's photo as part of the baby love AVP that was played over and over at the event! Not only that, FuentesManila surprised guests with lovely portraits of our kids displayed on the tables which were later on given to us as keepsakes.
As it is a challenge to cover an event with a little child in tow, I am just so glad that the press kit that FuentesManila has prepared came in a neat and sturdy envelope with everything that I need to know about the product and the launch were properly documented. That made it easier for me to write about the launch after the event. Not all PR agencies are as organized as they are. There was a time that I got a media kit where loose pages of a press release and an untitled CD were inserted in an open plastic envelope.
I also like the way they treat bloggers who came in early for the event. An airconditioned room complete with coffee making necessities was designated as our holding room. It is where my son and another child of a media personnel happily ran around while eating their respective baons.
