As a relatively new local in Beaumont, I love exploring and supporting local businesses, especially local restaurants. Fuego Cravings has been a favorite spot for their birria, surf & turf burritos, and birria ramen. I have been coming here for almost two years now. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience overall last night. I ordered my food to go, and while eating my surf and turf fries, I felt something out of the ordinary as I started to chew on my fries. To my surprise, the foreign object I pulled out appeared to be a tooth or something that resembled a tooth. I immediately placed the object in a bag and called the restaurant. I spoke to the individual who rang my order, and she took my phone number and assured me that Edith, the store manager, would call me the next day because she did not have the authorization to give me a refund. I waited until noon for a response until I decided to go to the store to address the issue. When I arrived, I asked for Edith, and she offered me a new order of birria fries. However, I declined and requested a refund. Edith then spoke to the cashier in Spanish and told me that the cashier would help me, and then she went to the back. The cashier said the person who rang me up last night would have to call me to process my refund when she was available. I asked her why Edith couldn't handle my refund if she were the manager. I asked the cashier if she could get Edith to handle my refund. She went to the back, came back, and told me Edith had stepped out for a minute and would return later. Experiencing this type of customer service is genuinely unacceptable and disappointing. I won't return anytime soon to give my business to this establishment. This place is a good weekday lunch spot. A lot of working professionals come here. The food is pretty good and the staff is attentive. The restaurant is clean too. Here's a listing of what I've tried thus far and my assessment: 1) Quesabirria: super tasty!!! Messy to eat, but, well worth it. It's a cheesy, wet, soft shell taco with birria inside. Recommending this one the most. 2) Street taco: classic soft taco. The meat was good and overall it was a good buy. 3) Taquitos locos: not enough meat. They were ok. 4) Fuego fries: it's a meal on its own. It was a lot to eat with anything else and by the end, I felt like I had too much salt. 5) Aguas: really refreshing. I recommend you get a drink. 6) Beans & Rice: Don't get beans or rice and you'll be ok. They really ruined the experience. The beans were too salty while the rice was both over and under cooked lol. I'm not sure how that happened. Some rice was mushy while some rice was still hard due to undercooking. Strange situation. read more

Today was our first time here. We ordered to go since we had groceries in the car. I got three carne asada tacos and one of birria. My husband ordered the carne asada torta. Everything was delicious! The meat is top notch. I was surprised that the tacos held up for a to go order. We only live a mile away, but this is the first place that we've come across that uses one tortilla for street tacos. But they were amazing so I'm not mad at it. Will be back for sure! read more

The food and service has always been pleasant. We usually do the California burrito or tacos.

Went here because the reviews were good! We'll never go back again! For two of us to have 3 tacos each and chips and guacamole was $35! No combo plates offered for this place and drinks were bottled sodas. The food was okay. I've had better tacos for sure. The chips were served in a basket with no liner, who knows if it was cleaned or not! The guacamole was more like avocado sauce! Salsa was like spicy ketchup! Now for the restaurant. Had about three people in the place. Tables weren't clean. But then you look up at the ceiling fan...disgusting! I don't think it has ever been cleaned. I should have taken a photo. There was at least an inch of dust/dirt/grime sitting on the blades. I was thankful we didn't sit under it. But it was right over the counter where they served food. Their birria anything is just too good, very juicy and flavorful without being bitter at all or too salty. I love the open space of the restaurant and the clear layout of the tables. I realized it had been almost exactly a year since i left a review full of suggestions, so I thought I'd get the same meal and see if there were changes. There were! I had the birria ramen (spicy). This time, it was served in a wide soup bowl on top of a plate. Tucked around the plate were lemon wedges and radish slices, and on top of the soup was a generous garnish of white onion and cilantro. It was colorful and appetizing, and the veggies were as fresh and crisp as they looked. Definitely an upgrade! The birria is still delicious, but I think I've noticed that the soup simmers all day, so the evening birria is much less ropey than the noon birria. I might be wrong about that. It was tender and savory and meaty. The ramen noodles were similar in quality and quantity to the previous year; I was once again out of noodles with half a bowl of meat left. That's a pretty good problem to have, but I do still wish they'd double the noodles. One of the stark white walls was painted ochre, and lined with red pleather booths that I find comfortable. The small black and white photos of astronauts and Supreme Court Justices have been replaced with larger color portraits of movie stars, the ones I recognize are from the golden age of Mexican cinema. Updated appearance, downgraded history, I call that a wash. I've gotten used to the wall mural, and that wall has plants on shelves now. All in all, they have put in the effort to make a good thing better, and I recommend this place without reservations. BTW, the tacos are good, the burritos are better, the chilaquiles were fine but should come with birria, and they still don't use any of the meat to make machaca, which is a tragic missed opportunity. I didn't love the nachos or fries, but I didn't regret anything, either. You really can't miss with any item that has the birria. Enjoy! read more

So I order 4 tacos and two of them came with no onions and silantro so I got just meat and the shell. I ask if I can bring back the tacos for a refund or at the very least for them to remake the tacos and they refused offering me a free drink the next time I made a purchase. No customization or alternate options for the food you purchase. When asked to leave the chipotle sauce off of my sons shrimp tacos, we were told that they only come with that sauce on it. Couldn't change the sauce to a simple creama sauce. Ordered street tacos that were served with a brown processed type Guacamole. Ordered a cup of Guacamole w/ chips and received a half cup of gross processed Guacamole. Pretty sure we paid for a whole side and not a half. Their food presentation looks nothing like the pictures on their menu. Way overpriced for the quality of food that was served to us. Won't be giving them our business again anytime soon. read more
