They closed at 6pm and we had a reservation for 4:30. The restaurant is so adorable, like an old Bavarian farm house feel. The service was spectacular! The waitress spoke multiple languages fluently. I was impressed. We try to speak what we can, but she quickly picked up we spoke English and was extremely nice. They had a special menu for Christmas, and we ordered Pumpkin soup, Venison steak with dumplings & cabbage, a salad, and a fried cinnamon apple dessert. They also have a decent wine and beer selection. I highly recommend eating here.

We were wondering around Bad Windsheim and found this Church Museum open on Christmas Day. Inside…read morethe church is beautiful and full of history. It cost 3.50euro per person. We were able to walk through 4 floors and see the architecture of the roof, which is amazing it's held up for hundreds of years. On Christmas Day there were people signing Christmas songs. It was beautiful. We learned it was an old hospital and there is a cemetery right next to the church.
