Despite the fact that they questioned why my party of 8 wanted to sit inside ("perche oggi fa molto caldo!!" was my reply) we were all seated and set up promptly, with the food coming out at a decent speed for us hungry, fast-paced Americans. The carbonara made my heart stop. First because of all the glorious butter and bacon mixed in the dish, then metaphorically because I loved it. If I could have carbonara from anywhere on this planet, I'd ask that it be cooked at this place. The other dishes my friends ordered (lemon pasta, pizza) were just okay for me, so I was really appreciative that I ordered what I did! All in all, the quality, service, price, and distance from the hoards of tourists at the bottom of the town all made this a great experience!
