In a warm place like Mexicali, nothing beats the heat like an icy cold and pleasant dessert that soothes the throat and cools down the body. Mexico's amazing version of the snow cone, the raspado, is just the dessert! My friend got a coconut raspado to share and it was decent. There was a generous amount of coconut flakes and the condense milk was a nice creamy touch. This would be good for coconut fans but I gotta admit that I don't care much for coconut so I didn't enjoy it quite as much. This Frutal opens late! I think we closed them out at midnight. It's by the college here in Mexicali so I think their location is probably most ideal for the partygoers, bar-hoppers, and college kids. Excellent place you DEFINATELY have to check out when your in Vacation at Mexicali!. Clean,Cheap, and Very very delicious, The menu has endless options, it has everything for the kids you can either stay inside(in the ac) or take them out to the playground outside. This place looked nice from the outside. However, the staff is rude, and you have to wait quite a while you get order. All while the staff is in the back horsing around. A customer was complaining because they made her order wrong, the cashier did even apologize to her or remake the item. They basically made it seem as it was her fault that they got the order wrong. I do lot know if I will be returning to this establishment. read more
