Located right off Amethyst and Bear Valley Rd, Frontier Homes also known as Diamond Ridge is a pretty large vacant area where new homes are in the process of being built. This area is one of Victorville's better area. Several businesses in this location as well as schools. Because there is so much land and open space It creates a lot of dust storms when its windy, it would be perfect to put homes here. It will give the area a more upscale look and nearby residents l'm sure will be happy. I'm eager to see what the city of Victorville has up its sleeve to better the community. I was in Escrow with Frontier Communities since 10/26/20 my house was getting build at Stone briar In Adelanto CA .. I put down 5k and my loan was for 329,520. The new home was priced at 335,600. I had 19k remaining after I had put down 5k in earnest money. The underwriter approved me with conditions. My lender told told me to pay off my car. I was like why! I had under 8 payments and he still counted the debt against me so he told me to pay off the car and my conditions would be met. I paid 9,243 to pay off the car. When the appraisal came back the house value was 330,000. The seller refused to Bring down the price so they wanted me to pay 8,724, plus 1 month reserves and 5,600 dollars due to the appraisal being lower than the sale. I was scheduled to close December 23, 2020. I canceled out the deal and now filing a lawsuit against Frontier because they where very unethical and they were trying to get my realtor to use her commission to pay the difference in the appraisal. I have 3 boys and I have not got them nothing for Christmas because my gift to them was the house. read more

They are liars and rip offs. Check the BBB they are listed as not accredited. The loan company they use. Approved me with stipulations that I couldn't provide. They also are holding my EMD. Good faith deposit. I had to get an attorney to address this issue. I pulled out of the deal. Because the mortgage and insurance would be more than half my income. As a disabled vet for them to keep it is wrong. These people are about their commissions. read more

Punch list items are not done and no one seems to care about their customer after papers are done. Been here since 8/1 and still waiting for them to fix items during walk down. Design is great, but quality sucks! read more

I am a homeowner who bought from the first phase and from the beginning it was a great experience. They painted a picture that we couldn't pass up. As time went by, things started to change. Keep in mind, we were able to pick and choose what upgrades we wanted since the home was nowhere near built. We later found out that the things that we chose (ex: stand up shower and tub, color of cabinets, and staircase rails) were not going to be done because supposedly we did not pick them on time. The framing on the home was not even started and we were the first ones in this whole track to get the paperwork and deposits started. They told us that if we pulled out we would loose our deposit. Also, to top it off, initially, they told us because we were first phase buyers, the solar panels were ours and we later found out that those panels are to sit on our home for 20 years, and that I would buy the energy from the solar company at a discounted tier price. Also, on our property blueprint, it states that our backyard has a "pre existing " 6 foot block wall across when it has a 5 foot white vinyl fence that belongs to the home behind us. Not, to mention the issues that came with our home. Some walls were warped and they had to come in to fix them, the ceiling, you could see the tape and drywall screws, they came to fix them, approximately a year later, the AC goes out. They didn't care because it was passed warranty coverage. I had to get it fixed through an outside company. Do your homework before you think about spending your money on these homes. I would not recommend them. Their staff and the person who is suppose to take care of the track issues are very ineffective and don't care of the buyers.
