    I will never fly with this company ever again. I was over charged for my suitcase $250 dollars, that's ridiculous.

The airport is always…read moreclean, has plenty of service desks available, usually isn't too crowded, they have shaded spaces outdoors to sit and it is newly renovated. We love grabbing a delicious salmon bagel and a drink from inside and appreciate all the local things to do info around. The sequoias make a great addition inside and a piece of our local natural offerings that everyone should see, explore and appreciate the magnificence of. The airport is small and with lots of clear signage it makes it easy to navigate. Fresno PD always makes their presence known.

The good news is that it's super quick to get through--you can usually get from the curb to your gate in record time compared to LAX or SFO. It's clean, and the "giant sequoia" forest theme in the terminal is a nice touch for visitors. However, it really needs more to do. There's a major lack of variety when it comes to shops and interactive things to keep you busy during a delay. If you've already grabbed a coffee, you're basically just sitting at the gate staring at your phone. It would be great to see more local boutiques or even some interactive exhibits about the nearby National Parks to kill time. The biggest headache, though, is the baggage claim. They really need to expand that area and add an extra belt. When two or three flights land at the same time, that small space gets incredibly cramped, and it feels like forever before the bags actually start moving.

My wife, toddler, and I arrived at the United Airlines counter at 1:33 PM for our 2:20 PM flight (well within the 45-minute mandatory check-in window). However, there were no United representatives present at the counter when we arrived. A few minutes later, Vanessa showed up wearing her cool shades, casually walked to her computer, and stood there without acknowledging us. When Vanessa finally called us to the counter, she asked why we were there. I explained that we needed to check in our luggage for our flight. Vanessa then informed me that I was "minutes" late, stating United's policy required check-in 45 minutes before departure. When I told her we were at the counter by 1:33 PM, she dismissed this entirely and said it didn't matter whether I was on time or not. She flatly told me my only option was to reschedule and emphasized that she was busy. I asked for her name so I could file a complaint, but she refused to provide it and wasn't wearing a visible name badge. After calling United Airlines, I was informed that employees are required to provide their names but that there was nothing else they could do to resolve the issue over the phone. Eventually, I spoke with the Airport Director, who identified her as Vanessa and mentioned that she had no direct supervisor for the day. In the end, I had to purchase a new ticket with Southwest Airlines, where their customer service (special thanks to Carlos) was excellent and understanding. I couldn't say the same for United's staff--Vanessa's behavior was not only unprofessional but entirely lacking in empathy. Instead of taking my first-class flight home with United, I had to go out of my way to deal with their incompetence and indifference. Vanessa is a poor representation of customer service, and this experience was enough to make me avoid flying United Airlines in the future. If you value good customer service, avoid Vanessa and United Airlines altogether.

I take this flight at least once a month. The front desk (check inn) service is always horrible. Never friendly and never willing to help. I'm glad you can check inn on the app and you don't have to see them (unless you have to check a bag in). The workers at the gate (some times the same workers working the front) are pretty welcoming. I understand you have to check people's sizes on their bags but please use better wording then being rude about it. The flight attendants are definitely a hit and miss. You have some nice/welcoming ones but you also have some rude "I hate my job" workers. What makes me upset the most is, I have a Allegiant credit card and with this card you get a free drink, sometimes they never get to you (depending on where you are sitting and if they only have 1 cart going up and down). Overall, I just have to say "you pay for what you get so you can't really complain" + Allegiant customer service doesn't do anything about their complains anyways.

The blonde lady that was visiting with co-worker since we were in line finally took a breath; I ask if she had time to help us. She begrudgingly turned to us with half open eyes to display total disdain for asking her to help us and spoke very rudely to us while checking us in. She spent a lot of time checking out my partners boarding pass in her iPhone wallet noticing mine was there as well. Then questioned why I only had mine in my iPhone wallet. I told her I only need mine. She asked if I cared mine was in my friends wallet also I replied, " I only need mine". She said, "don't you care?" I repeated I only need mine. She didn't like that. Then she gave me a sticker for my carry-on (which was not given to me in Fresno) I proceeded to place it, then she said, "you didn't listen to me", you peel it this way". She never said that to me. Bitch At boarding You're allowed one carry-on and one personal item. My friend had her backpack and a tiny tiny shoulder strap zipper bag. Boarding wouldn't let her on the plane until she put that tiny zipper bag inside her backpack, then told her to go to the back of the line. What a dick. This is a Fact at Fresno and Las Vegas airports. NEVER AGAIN! I respect myself. Never going to pay for egregious service, at check in and boarding. I hope Allegiant goes bankrupt with their ancient planes, and horrible, horrible employees.

But, for the first time last month, I got to fly private. That experience alone warrants 5 stars. When's your flight? 5:00pm? Try to be there at 4:45. Running a few minutes late? No problem, the plane will wait for you. The safety brief went something like this: "So, uh, you've got your seatbelts, pretty standard, just make sure they're on for takeoff and landing ...hey, does anyone want some snacks or soda? Excellent, modern, clean facility, reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff. Pilot lounge was top notch. I just wish AirNav had the ability to post pictures. Called in about 10 minutes out and advised of our intentions. Off of the taxiway we were greeted by line service, shut down, walked in a crew car was waiting for us. After getting lunch and getting lost on our drive back the aircraft was fueled, lined up with other aircraft and it was a few minutes before we were ready for departure.
