I have a mixed feeling for this restaurant because the meal I had was not that great, but I know…read morethe food my friend had (and I tried) were really good. I guess you have to keep in mind that this is experimental cuisine, and some experiments go well while the others, well not so well. We came here for a lunch. As we were seated they gave us this little green frozen candies which was actually filled with salted olive juice, which popped inside our mouth. That was fun and actually tasted great. We also had as appetizers, tataki of tuna iberico(raw tuna sliced lightly touched with fat of jamon iberico) which was ok, for me it could've been a bit more savory. And we had these killer croquetas con calamares y su tinta (croquettes with squid and squid ink) and oh my god it was so so so good. Then for our main dish, my friend had bacalao (cod), and it was good. Another friend ordered the secreto of iberico. (I believe it was a shoulder cut, but I'm not completely sure) My oh my. It was perfectly cooked and beautifully flavored. It was SO great. Now for the horror part. What I ordered was a grilled flounder fish. When my dish came I was horrified because it came as a whole fish, not cut nor cared at all. I had to fight for a whole 10 minutes to remove the skin and bones only to get to barely seasoned, mud-smelling flesh. Ew. I couldn't finish half. As for dessert, I opted for something that didn't sound so adventurous, and I got a good ice cream. My friend got the chocolate pot thing that came with a plant and it was very good and fun. Another friend got icecream hotdog and he said it was not good. As a summary, there are some things that are to die for, and other things that are mediocre or bad. I will return for the good dishes and the funky atmosphere, but I will never order the flounder fish ever, ever again.
