What's more, last year when local rent prices were through the roof, we were absolutely certain that our rent would skyrocket when we renewed as the lease clearly states that renewal rates can adjust in accordance with current market values. Throughout our tenancy, communication was reactive rather than proactive, key control practices were deficient, and routine administrative matters were handled in a way that created unnecessary conflict rather than resolution. Even when issues were raised directly and early, they were either ignored or addressed only after they escalated. Commercial property management requires competence, documentation discipline, and a working understanding of lease enforcement. When those fundamentals are absent, owners--not tenants--ultimately bear the cost. Price does not compensate for poor management. Even if this service were free, I would not recommend it to a commercial property owner who values risk management, tenant stability, and professional oversight.

The noise from the attached unit was so bad that we could hear everything they were doing and couldn't sleep. It's not that they were being obnoxious, but there was no noise barrier in between units. The threshold at the front door was so high that I tripped going outside. Someday someone's going to get hurt! The AC units were difficult to operate, and they offered no instructions anywhere. We eventually figured it out. The shower goes hot and cold the entire time you're in it and the sofa is so uncomfortable, we had to sit on bed pillows. What bothers me the most is they seemed receptive to my feedback and claimed they will be fixing things but I now believe they are were just AI responses. I gave an honest review and they had it removed off the Airbnb site. The whole point of reviews is to be honest so other guests so they can make an informed decision. If you look at the reviews I leave, they're mostly positive. I don't like to leave bad reviews but we went home a day early because we were so uncomfortable. That does not warrant a good review whether they like it or not.

In January, RowCal's system failed to process my association dues through autopay, even though I…read morehad been enrolled for over a year and had never missed a payment. Several neighbors experienced the same issue, which means it was a broader system failure. Instead of taking responsibility, RowCal repeatedly told me to "just make a manual payment," even though doing so would force me to pay an additional one-time payment processing fee that I specifically set up autopay to avoid, per their terms. RowCal did not meet that obligation, yet they insisted the fee "cannot be waived" because it is "system generated." At no point did RowCal acknowledge that homeowners should not be penalized for a failure in their system. Even after multiple attempts to escalate the issue, I was told that no one at any level has the ability to process the payment without charging the extra fee. They also confirmed that payments cannot be made in person, leaving homeowners with no reasonable way to resolve the issue without absorbing a cost that exists solely because their system malfunctioned. This entire situation reflects poorly on RowCal's processes, accountability, and customer service. Homeowners should not be forced to pay for RowCal's technical errors, and the lack of meaningful resolution, care, or ownership from their support team is unacceptable.

I only mention the appliances because we felt stuck buying GE appliances because thats what Saint Aubyn gave us an allotment for. Our neighbors are all having issues as well. In our neighbor alone they have had issues with their decks, sup-pump and also the very issues we have had. I would also like to point out that I used nothing but the products recommended. And this was normal where and tear in the household of GRANDPARENTS! We worked all our lives to buy our dream home and this is what we got. A complete REFURBISH JOB! I just hope the frame hold up!
