I want to state that I realize no one is a miracle worker but I feel the need to warn brides before they consider this venue for their special day. To begin I want to start off with the 3 people who own the venue, The "coordinator", the "Dj", & The "photographer"; None of which are trained or good at what they do.. Too many chiefs Not enough Indians.
Rehearsal
The rehearsal was a disaster, the bride had to try on another wedding dress at the request of the "Coordinator", & then rushed us to leave because, get this, she had another bride coming.. The "coordinator" barked at the whole party and ordered everyone around to fit HER vision, not the brides.. Telling the bride that she -Couldn't- do what she wanted as the bridesmaids walked down the isle. Which was for the men to bow the woman to curtsy. She even went so far as to insist on changing the music, even though the bride didn't want to.
The day before the wedding the bride and I (bridesmaid) went to the venue to check on how things were progressing, well we got there and the lady had the venue set up completely different than what was discussed or promised. She also didn't seem okay with changing it to suit the bridal party. 8 tables, roughly 50+ people wouldn't be able to see the ceremony at all. It took HOURS to get the lady to make the necessary changes.
The day of the wedding.
The "coordinator" set us up with "makeup artists" & hair stylists, who were paid 800$. The makeup was awful & cheap, I am extremely frugal but you wouldn't catch me dead using half the products she used on the bridesmaids and bride. The foundation was supposed to be airbrush, Most brides would expect someone who is versed in airbrush makeup to have a reputable airbrush system.. oh no, they had a cheap ebay knock off & cheap ebay foundation that did not match and did not stay put. All bridesmaids had to retouch or redo their makeup completely. & forget getting them to touch you up, they left soon after we got to the venue.
the Venue during the wedding
Half the centerpiece candles weren't lit. The food was disgusting, & instead of being on top of things, they made an announcement that when everyone was done eating to push their plates up & they would collect them.. First of all.. WHO DOES THAT?! In the middle of the party.. & the plates didn't get collected till the entire wedding was over and more than half of the people were gone. The bartender was RUDE, & got paid 25$ an hour to pour premixed drinks. The bouncer, that HAD to be hired, was completely useless except to tell people they couldn't walk outside with their drinks. The "Photographer", or what i like to call him; A dude with a camera... Took THE WORST pictures i've EVER seen. There were so many bad photos the bride had to make a "Blooper" picture album. & we are having to retake photos because of it. & to top off the photographers awful pictures; as he was "helping" the bartender serve drinks to the bridal party, he got drunk.
It was a beautiful ceremony and the tables did look nice, but NOTHING was as promised. For the bride to have spent so much money on the venue, it was a disaster. I do not recommend this venue to any bride what so ever. The venue is cute but the people running it are completely unqualified and do not know what they are doing. If you are considering this venue, think twice.
