I loved that the actors try to scare you before you have even started the tour, the areas were detailed with blood and gore and was perfect for a horror buff like me. Best of all was the picture you took at the end of the tour with the Drop machine. I made some amazing memories at the Blackpool Dungeon and Madam Tussuands, and I will never forget it. The SF dungeon was a lot smaller, less actors (relied more on machine tricks) and did not have the picture taken at the drop.

Pasaje del Terror was the ONLY enjoyable experience throughout the whole evening. We visited Pasaje del Terror at the beginning of the evening, and due to the venues brilliant decor, tense atmosphere, and frightening actors, Blackpool Pleasure Beach had a lot to live up to. FYI, they failed in spectacular form in comparison. If you're visiting Pasaje del Terror for Halloween, or at any other time in the year, do it and skip BPB. What it basically consists of is walking through a dark, freaky building with differently-themed rooms (graveyard, bedroom, furnace, etc) and being scared by costumed actors who jump out at you, chase you etc. They are dressed as monsters from various horror films - Freddy Krueger, Pinhead, Exorcist girl etc - and less specific ones like scary clowns and vampires. This will terrify some people, and not bother others. The last time I went in, I walked around with my eyes closed the whole time, holding my friend's hand so he could guide me around. He wasn't fazed by it at all. And my other friend was more concerned by us holding hands than by any of the monsters. I don't think I'll ever go in again, but it definitely does what it sets out to do, in my case. Oh, and the best part is, at the very end, you'll run through a door screaming after a chainsaw-wielding Leatherface jumps out at the side of you And you'll run screaming through the door into a pub where (on a busy day) there'll be a couple dozen customers sitting. It's fun to sit in the pub and see the scared folks running through the door. Makes you feel like less of a little girl for being scared yourself.
