Wonderfully close to Rome, Villa Gregoriana is a blend of nature and history, with lush paths, ancient ruins and waterfall as the highlight. The park walk is peaceful and you get close to the waterfall. The setting is serene and less crowded than other attractions, making it the perfect escape. If you're in Tivoli, don't miss it.

I highly recommend walking down to the bottom of the main waterfall if you are able- there are caverns you can explore, and it is surreal to stand so close to such a big waterfall. However, this hike could be difficult, especially if the weather is extremely hot. Be aware of your limitations, though we were all perfectly fine climbing up/down throughout the park.
