Lol. She ate one and a half pogos, which is a lot for her. The breading looked crispy. The hotdogs were tiny and they were steamed. The nieces rejected them so my brother and dad ended up eating them. The place is really popular; we had to stand in line for a long time. Decor is old school diner-like. It reminds me of those casse-croutes that are ubiquitous in Montreal like La Belle Province, Lafleur Restaurants, and Green Stop. Most food here is greasy and fried. If you're trying to eat healthy this is not the place to go. It's not my kind of place, but for what it is, I think it's good. It's in a plaza, so lots of free parking.

We visited while the tulip festival was going on. There was food, art and lots of jewelry vendors, It was bustling. So many people and so much food. From Indian to a store all about cheeses from around the world. Being from Florida it's nice to find places like this that are very different and unique. The best part about this market was finding a classic poutine spot. The menu was very diverse, but we wanted something completely classic. The flavor of the gravy was delicious and the french fries were fried perfectly. The cheese is very different too. It can be very spongy, but it goes well with the whole combination. We definitely would return back to Bytown Joe's to try their unique flavors of poutine!
