Ordered: Caffé Latte (44 SEK)…read moreMorotskaka (45 SEK): carrot cake Aya's take: I love the vibe here at Kafé Magasinet! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, exposed brick walls, and tons of plants/greenery and natural light in the back covered outdoor area. In addition to being a cafe, they serve food and beer/alcohol, as well. The Caffé Latte was made well with a creamy and warm taste. The Morotskaka was dense and could have been more moist. The cream on top definitely helped with that but made each bite way too sweet. I ended up scraping off the cream and taking a little with each bite instead. Overall, great spot for fika!

Great bagels in Gothenburg!! We ordered takeaway and got the tuna bagel and a bagel that had…read morechicken. Both were warm and had a good balance of bread to fixings. The bagels themselves were actually quite good and reminiscent of deli bagels in the US. They were chewy and soft and tasted fresh. They had fresh squeezed juices on the menu and coffee drinks. The inside is a bit crowded during the autumn or winter when you can't sit outside, and you typically can not get a seat - even when waiting it's very hard to find where to stand. There are about 3-4 tables that if you're lucky enough to get, seat about 2-4 on each. The service was friendly however, and pretty fast!
I love the name!…read more But considering the name I thought they would have more than four kinds of bagels. One star drops. They have several fillings for the bagels but the ultimate rite of passage is one with just cream cheese. It came hot with lots of cream cheese and was really good! I don't understand the crisps/potato chips though...? The plain black coffee was also really really good! Inside is only five tables and pretty small. It gets cold when the door is kept open. The interior is red and pretty nice and clean. OK, Egg & Milk has got a competitor in Bönor & Bagels regarding the best bagels in town. E&M leads due to more flavors to choose from. I like it! Breakfast is served all day, as long as she doesn't run out of bread. You go here for a quick stop. No cards accepted - cash i s king.

Walking in, the atmosphere was pretty casual with people talking it up with one another and enjoying coffee. The baristas at the counter were super welcoming and helpful when it came to choosing which drink I wanted to get. I decided to get a latte with an espresso made from Ethiopia beans and my friend got a pourover (V60) made from the Costa Rica beans. The latte was amazing and it was super smooth with the Ethiopia espresso. I tried some of the Costa Rica pourover and it was great, it had a nice and light taste to it and I loved it so much I decided to buy a bag of the Costa Rica beans. I also loved how they serve their pourovers in an Erlenmeyer flask, it made me so happy! As I was enjoying my drink, I began to talk with one of the baristas about coffee and it was great to meet such people that were so enthusiastic about coffee living their dreams and making this amazing coffee. I know I'll be back here again whenever I'm back in Sweden. Until then, I'll be missing this place on the daily.
