All alone on business so I hit the restaurant and bar. It is a small, family style restaurant with a decent menu. Very "homey". The wine was good but the food, not so much. The place was full, and on a Tuesday night - maybe I didn't order the right thing? I was hoping for a much better meal for this road worn troubadour.

The food is spectacular - so many tasty pork dishes that it's hard to choose. The ambiance is good, too. This is a former train station and a real train is next door. You can eat inside or on the patio and it's just lovely. There were lots and lots of people having end-of-the-day cocktails when I visited and I can surely see why. Such a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend the Nordbahnhof!
