We did not hire them for the deposition that occurred on that date, but when we ordered the transcript they added the "holiday fee." I called the local court reporter that actually took the deposition and she told me that they DID NOT charge a holiday fee. Magna is very creative with their billing. I imagine there is someone whose job it is to come up with bogus fees. Apparently insurance defense law firms will pay these bogus fees because it is not coming out of their pocket. What a scam.
