There's a Chester's Chicken and Subway on site. The restaurants and convenience store are open 24/7. This is Love's Store #320 and it's located about halfway in between Atlanta and Savannah at I-16 Exit 49: SR 257 - Dublin, Dexter.

I had fried chicken before from the other gas station chain that's popular in the Atlanta GA area abbreviated CC. This chicken is better crispy and delicious and the honey biscuit is no joke and you get a fruit pie all for $6 00 with the 2 pc dark special! I asked my sister did she want some on the way to Savannah GA. She thought it was tenders only. She got the 2 pc white combo on the way back. Chicken is bussing! They are not playing no games. On the way back from Hilton Head Island, SC my bf's car ran out of gas. Before stopping at Friendly Gus Travel Center, we've stopped at at least 10 other gas stations and none of them had fuel. Sorry, let me correct myself. All the gas stations I've been to shut their fuel station down after midnight. What the... I never knew that. I panicked so bad, because it's already 2 am, the roads are so freaking creepy, not to mention the fact that there was no light on the highway and outside of the gas station perimeter. I wanted to cry after we got to the 4 gas station and still there was no gas. So what happened next? We had to stop next to a midnight restaurant, which was the only thing that still had light, to call triple AAA. It took Triple AAA 40 minutes to deliver gas to us, but they only gave us 60 miles worth of gas...and that 60 miles got us to Friendly Gus Travel Center. I was beyond happy to see the Gas Station so well lit, and the fuel station is still on. Thank you, Friendly Gus Travel Center for not closing your fuel station after hours. You saved my life. I believe Friendly Gus is off exit 54 on 400. Moral of the story, try not to travel at night...and don't wait until you have 50 miles left to get Gas..who knew Georgia can be so scary..oh and the whole time I never let go of my bf's gun...

8/3/26 after fueling with premium gas our car died roughly half a mile away from this location. We…read morewitnessed many other people with dead engines at the pump and being towed from the highway after fueling. We were told water got into the tank because of not sealing the cap to the underground tanks properly. We were three hours away from home and we are down an essential vehicle due to this situation. I will say the employees were very helpful and claimed responsibility, however this is majority inconvenient since we rely on that car for work and repair time is unknown.

I've stopped at a many Pilot Travel Centers across this land and I must say most are dirty and…read moregrungy, it's tough out here on the road and nothing comes easy as you burn up the blacktop, whether you have eighteen wheels or two these travel centers are popular. Cars and Bikers out front jockeying to get a spot at the pumps, the diesel rigs out back, the truckers like it that way, just ask them four wheelers are a distraction, a pain in the ass and are nothing more than rookies behind the wheel. The locals use this place as a convenient store, some of their mommas work here, they step out the front door to sneak a smoke and they'll tell you "I'll be right in hun" - this place turns and burns and there ain't much time to take a break so excuse the butts on the ground, some twisted and smashed some still have a ember and the homeless pray they find it before it gets snuffed out, they hit is while digging through the trash looking for a empty aluminum can or a half eaten honey bun. My rigs hold a little over one hundred gallons so I have time to people watch and see poverty first hand. I don't feel anything but empathy for those that struggle and I never judge those that are less fortunate. I think most are doing the best they can in the situation they're in even though some are living with a history of bad decisions we rather know what landed them here. They don't scare me and I don't look down on this percentage of our population, I help them out when I can and if I'm honest when can't I help them out? - it's my choice, so judge me on my actions instead of judging them on their situation. The pump nozzle just kicked out, my break from the road comes to an end and I know I may never pass this way again. I hope I made a positive impact, my payment at the pump is an invisible contribution to a cause I may or may not knowingly support. I didn't go inside so I don't know if the restrooms are clean or dirty, I didn't interact with the staff so I can't comment on the level of service - this place did provide me a place to see a little piece of the world today and I'm thankful for that. I'm committing to paying it forward - all of us can spare some pocket change so leave some on the edge of the trash bin, on top of the pump or on the curb, we'll all be better for it. I knew the car would have to be towed to replace the tire and Tanners was there in a short period of time. I don't know the owner's son's name, but he sure took care of me, calmed me down and good company to take my mind off of much going on. Tanners had me back on the road with a new tire within an hour at a surprisingly reasonable cost. At first I thought that this was small town kindness, but really it was just a small business doing their absolute best to take care of others in need. Might just drive the 2 hours to use for any issues with my car. Kudos to you Tanner's! You don't know how much appreciated you are!
