Tania's is tucked in the Craft and Antique Emporium alley--steaming fresh Nutella waffles, falafel, Gassans' own "Miracle Juice" (fruits and veggies juiced together) that has kept me healthy all winter, and amazing healthful hot vegetable soup, (among other things). The family (Lina, Mohammed, Gassan, and Tania) are super friendly and warm. Visiting with them is one of my favorite parts of going. This may be my favorite place in Hampstead. It's very small and has only counter seating with one outdoor table. It's a lovely quiet place to come and enjoy great healthful food and the owners' lovely company.

The mixed grill came with a wonderful selection of olives, red onion and fattoush; I appreciated not being forced to get rice. As for the meat, the lamb mince was delicious, but the chicken and lamb souvlaki had obviously been frozen and microwaved; both had the taste and consistency of cardboard. Grill? What grill? This place is hit and miss. Their salads and falafel are above average, and their freshly made juices including the likes of watermelon, grapefruit, cucumber and many others looked interesting; but the hummus is surprisingly dear given the name of the restaurant, and I would steer clear of their "grill" options. Hummus aside, the prices are what you might expect. In other words, some aspects of Hummy Yummy suggest potential, but it will probably have to up its game if it wants to compete with other Mediterranean offerings in the area.
