In their defence, I did wake up from the surgery very scared and tearful. It was my first time under anaesthetic. The nurse I had was (I think) unreasonably upset about my reaction. Like she was mad at me for some reason. Told me to get up and get out but also that I wasn't allowed to leave until I stopped crying. The only pleasant part of the whole experience was the front desk ladies. NIGHTMARE!

I moved back to Innisfil a couple of years ago and found Alcona Family Dentistry through my neighbor. They have got to be the best dentistry I have ever been to. My teeth have never been whiter after a cleaning. They are very gently and I have never felt anything. The conversations that go on between the two of them are very interesting and quite amusing and sometimes very funny. I recently had dental surgery done and I could not be happier with the outcome and the price. I highly recommend them and will not go anywhere else. Our appointment started on time and we were treated as if all of our MANY questions were important and valid. Lisa asked about our travel plans. When she realized that we'd be traveling around the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, she gave us some very useful recommendations and explained everything in detail for us. Before leaving our first appointment, she provided us with a very comprehensive information package and booked us a follow-up appointment. All of our appointments were very positive. Lisa shared interesting stories and made us feel very comfortable as we received our injections. She is quite professional and skilled - we really didn't experience much pain at all. After our last appointment, Lisa provided us with an updated Vaccination Record and instructions for travel medication that was to be taken at home nearer our departure date. We had their PSWs come to her home every day for 12 hours per day. The ladies were great in taking care of my mom's needs and making her feel comfortable. She wasn't always easy for them, I'm sure, but they were very professional and took it all in stride. They were very prompt, never late, and stayed until everything was done. They took care of the cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene where needed, etc. I would highly recommend their service to anyone looking for trusting and very friendly care givers.
