My recent experience with Michelle Belmont during a deposition was very disappointing. I understand…read moreattorneys have a duty to represent their clients and ask difficult questions, but the manner and tone of the questioning often felt unnecessarily confrontational and at times condescending. I also found the questioning repetitive, particularly regarding the multiple properties involved in the case. In my experience, some of the same issues were revisited rather than addressed more efficiently. I was also surprised by some of the questions regarding my professional and construction experience. Some of them suggested to me a limited familiarity with basic construction terminology and practices, and I found certain questions confusing and not fully grounded in the work as it's actually performed. I respect the legal process and recognize that divorce litigation can be adversarial. However, I believe professionalism, civility, and respect should remain part of that process. This review reflects my personal experience during the deposition. It was unfortunately not a positive experience for me.

In 6 1/2 months they never finished the probate. They're making it hard to move forward with another lawyer.
