This was a fun British experience! We sat inside and our waitress was super sweet. It is small, and not a pub, so don't expect to be getting beer and such. Got a ginger beer that was too sweet for me, but that's certainly not their fault. Had the Cottage Pie which was amazing! Boyfriend got the sampler as a meal so he could try a few different things, everything was great. They also sell British candy and their decor is wonderful. This was our first visit. Fantastic service and a great breakfast. Ordered the Friar Tuck Breakfast and it came with the blood sausage. First time trying it and it was great. I'm sure for some it may be an acquired taste but it's similar to gritsworst and maybe similar to Hagis. Loved it. I loved the atmosphere and I was ready to sit down on a stool and have me a pint! Got a chance to check out this gem we ordered the Full English breakfast which wasn't full because of the missing black pudding, Bacon Butty, Burrito, and Corned Beef Hash. The bacon Butty was underwhelming just bc it's 2 pieces of bread with bacon in between. The burrito and hash were fantastic and portions on those 2 dishes were generous. The flavors were spot on and I'd definitely order again. The service was fantastic which is appreciated and they honor veterans which is great business etiquette in my book. Visited here because of its high rating and was utterly disappointed in the service and Management, both of which seemed nearly non-existent. We ordered two appetizers, the Scotch Egg and Mushrooms. The Egg came out with our entree and without extra plates. Our second app came as we were leaving and was half of an order for which we were not charged. No drink refills, and we had to scavenge other tables for salt and pepper because after asking...nothing. The food, if and when we got it was tasty that's the only reason this is not a 1 star review. I'd stay away from the Friar Tuck and it's tacky faux British decor. read more

We were staying at the campground down the road and decided to try something new and I'm so glad we did! We had the scotch eggs to start they were delicious and the sauce served with them just topped it off. My husband had the fish and chips and it was the largest piece of fish I have seen served that way and it was so good! I had a mushroom and chicken pot pie and it was really good as well just slightly salty. My husband tried some of the beers as well and he really enjoyed them. At our visit I have to say we were the only people of color and we were welcomed with kindness. We had the fish (COD) and chips. The cod was unbelievably large which was great!!! The home cut french fries were good as well at least for me. My husband didn't like his due to his fries wet from the oil from the fish. Discovered this awesome little spot a few weeks back. On Tuesday - Thursday they offer various trivia like games for free to participate in. Although those games are typically 'bar room' type atmosphere, here they are very family friendly. Nice selection of adult beverages, and the food is very tasty. Sometimes it takes a bit for food, but they make most items from scratch, hence the longer time frame. Meat pies are fabulous, as are the fish and chips and chicken wings. If you're in the mood for dessert, you're in the right spot. The Biscoff Bomb is absolutely delicious, and they have a giant ice cream sundae for many to share as well. Their newly expanded location features a huge bar, fireplace, pool table, hand made tables, a bakery and the warmest staff anywhere in FL! Skip the boring chain restaurants! I had a hankering for chicken pot pie, so I looked up British food restaurants. I decided on Friar Tuck. I ordered, fish n chips, chicken pot pie with sides, a donut with cream and jelly, a biscoff bomb. I must say, I was impressed with the food. The lady who took the order was knowledgeable, friendly and very through. She told me what traveled well and what time I should get there so that the fish n chip will not be soggy and the donuts and the biscoff bomb won't be a mess. I really enjoyed it all. So pleased to find this gem has moved to a bigger place. The food is authentic British. Our first visit I had the battered sausage and the husband had fish and chips. Both were excellent quality and generous portions. Definitely the nicest fish n chips in the area now. We came back for the Sunday roast and again the food was fantastic. The only complaint the husband had was the mash was instant but the roasties were great. I had the fish n chips as i dont care for lamb but would say the roast dinner looked really great. Huge homemade yorkshire puddings, lashings of gravy and so much lamb we took some home for tea time. I will def try the roast when it is the beef. The new place is really nice, lots of room. The tables and chairs are sturdy, chunky old world style and very comfortable. The decor is medieval castle and is a bit dark but adds to the ambiance. Employees are welcoming and friendly. My Brit husband especially appreciated a good visit with other ex pats. Parking was easier than expected. We will definitely be back to try more dishes although i will be hard pressed not to get the fish n chips! read more

Great place to watch early morning Formula 1 racing. Open as early as 9 am. Plenty of TVs. Very accommodating and friendly servers. Breakfast is quite good. We liked the French toast, corned beef and hash, bangers and mash, and other great choices. Excellent dinner choices too. Not too fancy. Went to Friar Tuck last night with my friend, ordered fish and chips, they were the best i've had in years. Nice crispy batter and lovely white cod and REAL chips!!! (english style). The staff were great, polite and paying attention to COVID regulations. Hand sanitizer is available at the point of entry. the bar area was continually cleaned and the toilets were spotless!
