They looked and felt almost like plastic, they didn't get soggy, and most importantly they didn't ruin the drink. I came in today and you've replaced them with those disgusting paper/cardboard straws. They are horrible. Pop fizzes like crazy through them, the drink seems to go flat faster, the straw gets soft, and the whole experience is ruined. I'm paying restaurant prices for a meal -- I should be able to enjoy the drink that comes with it. This is a massive step backwards. You already had a much better alternative, so why replace it with something customers hate? I will not go to restaurants that use paper straws. Period. If Five Guys continues using these cardboard straws, you've lost me as a customer. BRING BACK THE AGAVE STRAWS. Or get the sippy cup lids like Costco has.

We have had people say it's a pretty good burger. So, here we are going to try out the burgers. It's a drive thru order no inside sitting. You can park and walk up to a window and order and sit outside on a few benches and tables set up front. The drive thru work like this, You order on one side of the Shack and pick up on the other side. This is not a fast food chain, each order is made fresh with care from the time you order to the time you pick up. From the person who took our order to the person that gave us our order was friendly and fabulous!! Ordered two cheeseburger combos. Which was 2 big cheeseburgers, 2 huge fries and 2 drinks for $25.60. We have never had a burger and fries that were so hot and delicious!! We will definitely be returning to try out their other food items and milkshakes!!

After the car in front of me received their order and left, I pulled up to the window and saw my food already prepared and set aside. Instead of completing my order, the staff member began taking another drive-through order while I was waiting at the window. When I tried to get her attention, I was met with confusion and no clear communication. After waiting further without being served or even acknowledged properly, I chose to leave. This seemed less like a rush issue and more like a breakdown in basic process and customer service. A simple "please hold" to the next customer while finishing the order at the window would have resolved the situation. Unfortunately, this experience reflects poorly on staff training and service standards. They've also lost me as a customer--there are plenty of burger options out there, and nothing about this experience gave me a reason to come back.
