Such a great and easy experience with these movers. I had a 2 person job for loading all my heavy furnitures and all my boxes to my uhaul. Arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently and were extremely kind, all the necessary requirements. Each phone call I had with both of the owners, their demeanors were very pleasant and their pricing was competitive. No hidden fees and completed the job in the estimated time as well. I was pleasantly surprised that they blanketed each doorway so no accidental scuffs and added a rug on my stairs to keep it clean. They even brought blankets to wrap everything with and the items in the truck are tied down and very sturdy. If you are looking for a moving company, you should consider Fresh Start. The owner is young, energetic, aware of the stress moving can cause, and he hires quality employees. We had Femi, Jose, Roman, and Sebastian. Each of them introduced themselves to me and they didn't display any sort of an attitude during the entire 8 hours. Nice people. They asked me and my wife many times if there was anything that needed to be moved again. The owner, Kyle, has trained his guys to be conscientious and personable. Plus , they are all very strong, which doesn't hurt!! These guys take care of your belongings, wrapping and taping, moving carefully etc. And the cost $$ ?? As we all know moving is the worst... but with Fresh Start Movers it was easy, and efficient. We hired them to move our "big" stuff during our recent move. The whole team was a pleasure to work with, they were respectful with our furniture and our home and arrived with a plan. I didn't use them because they wouldn't come to my house for an estimate and the estimate they gave me by email didn't have an amount that the final bill wouldn't be over a certain amount. Which, means I'd basically be giving them a blank check and the movers would have absolutely no incentive to do the job quickly. Fresh Start Movers moved my husband and I from Healdsburg to Napa. Door to door, it took them about 8 hours (with about 1 hour's worth of breaks that we were not charged for), and we had a ton of stuff. These 2 guys worked their tails off, hustled hard, and were incredibly efficient with our move. Above and beyond that, they were very careful with our things, wrapping most items in blankets with shrink wrap before moving them out the door onto the truck. They placed each item in the specified room upon arrival at our new home, and broke down and rebuilt our bed frames. These guys are really really good at what they do, and really seem to care about the client. I was incredibly impressed with their service and would hire them again in a heartbeat. In terms of pricing, I think they're very reasonable compared to other companies in the north bay area. I will note they were one of the only companies that didn't quote us "double time" on a Sunday in June. I think we live in a world where a lot of companies are ready and willing to ding you and take advantage of your lack of knowledge in a certain industry (like moving). Fresh Start Movers is not that company. They are trustworthy, completely transparent, and really hardworking. Highly recommended. read more
