I rarely leave reviews but this experiance deserves to be shared. I was with Fremont Insurance for a while and out of nowhere my rate jumped by over $100 for the same 6 month coverage. No accidents, no tickets, nothing changed on my end. I ended up switching to GEICO and cut my premium nearly in half. When I called to cancel no one asked why or seemed to care at all. Not even a basic "Can we help you?" Just a flat and indiferent response. It really felt like my bussiness didn't matter to them. I have had the misfortune of dealing with Fremont insurance for my auto insurance. As of late deer have been throwing themselves at me. One recently totalled my car. It has been over two months and Rachael, my claims adjuster at Fremont has done nothing but give me the runaround. First they made me a ridiculously low offer. I argued that and they brought up the number to a more appropriate amount but still too low for sure. Then she proceeds to (purposefully IMO) play phone tag with me for what seems like an eternity. I am wanting this money to put towards another auto. I paid my bill on time, right in their message it talks about them making sure you will get reimbursed appropriately and quickly. BS!! (Oh by the way, PRO TIP: If you wreck your car get it to a body shop that charges daily rent for cars being stored there waiting for details to be hashed out. This was my situation before and they were indeed quick this time, when they were paying that daily fee. This time my car was barely drivable and I was a mile from home. I should have had it towed to my body shop. An adjuster from the insurance company came to my home instead.) WORST insurance company ever. They do everything possible to avoid paying a claim. I had to file a charge with the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) in order to get them to pay. Home Owners insurance policy was cancelled after 3 weeks. Leaving me and my agent scrambling for another policy. Proceed with caution.

The policy had a variety of loopholes that allows them to pick and choose , the one used on me they said I didn't live there , and I didn't for the last two months . reason we originally bought the policy , we were going to move to N. Carolina and our daughter was going to stay behind and start MCC . And the agent that sold me the policy at the White agency was told this story when we filled out the forms . check my deposition when their attorney deposed me that's what I state from beginning . And the agent is not accountable for anything . so why use one (empty suit) so they were able to deny my claim legally on this loophole . (the story has more but I'm afraid of anyone who has ties with the likes of governors and lawyers and Judges to make these unjust and unfitting to the situation loopholes work n their favor for nothing more than profit) the agent told my ex wife over phone how to take my name off the policy , and then accepts a paper from ex, not me to take me off the policy.
