The first 3 times I had bid too low and they didn't accept my offer. I finally tried 38.50€ and it was accepted. My 5 year olds ticket was 30€ and my 2 year old's cost 15.50€. (They don't charge by age but rather by height.) The parking fee was 8€ The drive was only an hour away for us and luckily there was no traffic. We arrived 10 mins prior to them opening and the parking lot was already fully packed. Checking in was easy. They just scanned the bar code from our phones and we walked in. I didn't know where to start first but I saw a bunch of other families with small children going off to the right and we followed. Arriving when they first opened was great for us. No long lines to wait in for the kiddie rides - under 5 mins. The longest time we waited in long was 25 mins for the log splash ride. There was a ride I don't recommend taking small children. It was across from the Dino splash next to a BBQ conssesion stand. I translated the ride as an underground train ride but it's bizarre, scary, and wildly inappropriate for young minds. So skip that ride. We did spend some time at the acarde and played some of the carnival game. I suggest not wasting your money on the claw machine trying to grab the stuffed animals. They are rigged and I'm embarrassed how much we ended up spending on retrying to win a stuffed animal. Save yourself the hassle and just jump on Amazon to buy which ever stuffed animal you want. I had gotten dizzy after riding a spinning cup ride with my girls. My equilibrium was way off and decided I must eat something. We walked into the first restaurant we saw and it was an Italian place called Casa Palatina. I ordered the pizza and carbonara pasta. The pizza was decent and the pasta was bland. We also tried the BBQ concession stand and got the soft served icecream. It was all just overpriced amusement park food. Nothing spectacular or mind blowing. Overall we were happy with our visit and would bring the kids again. If you have small kids I highly suggest this amusement park, for teens I would say go to Europa Park.

We live in Wiesbaden so the drive is fairly quick and there is plenty of parking. The lines are fairly short, particularly in the morning. The day that we went was fairly overcast, So that may have kept some people from showing up. We had lunch there which was reasonably priced and delicious. The park isn't as overbearing on safety like places are in the United States, which was concerning for my wife but I enjoyed it. We look forward to going again!

Tickets prices are based on height in cm., and can easily be purchased online. Kids under 100 cm are free. Americans beware, German liability laws are much different, and it's very much "participate at your own risk" park wide. That said, as long as you're exercising smart parenting practices, its pretty awesome! For instance, you can literally control some of the rides as a parent. Many low intensity rides have no staff supervision - you on and off-board whenever the next empty cart rolls up. There's a wide variety of things to do from ball pits to epic slides, a trampoline park, small roller-coaster, petting zoo, legit log ride, and numerous carnival-style-dizzying rides. The food was excellent: high end cafeteria style schnitzel/wurst/burger/fries, along with coffee baristas, flammkuchen, and candy/cotton candy/gelato/popcorn stands. We parents and the kids had a blast. Strongly recommend for parents and kids under 12.

Disappointing would be an understatement. We decided to visit this park on a sunny mid-November…read moreSunday. I checked to make sure they're still open during Winter and sure enough it said 10:00-16:00 with the Birds of Prey show happening at 15:00 on weekends. I was well aware that the rides, snack stands, and other atractions would be closed but we went only to see the animals. When we got to the entrance at 14:30 I even asked one more time to make sure the bird show was still on for 15:00 and the cashier rudely told me there was no reason why it wouldn't take place. The park itself is not very nice compared to others we've been to like Potzberg. Especially the building with the meerkats is completely run down and I feel sorry for the few animals they have since there is obviously no effort to make the enclosures comfortable or interesting for them. We saw two meerkats cuddling together and shivering because they were so cold. We really looked forward to seeing the bears but the whole area was taped off with signs that the bears are already in hibernation. Well, they are actually not. We could see each of the three bears from a distance locked in 3m x 3m steel cages with concrete floors, banging on the doors because they wanted to get out. Oh, and guess what? The bird show never happened. There were about 25 people waiting but nobody ever showed up. No explanation, no apologies...simply nobody showed up. So we left, feeling sad for the animals there and ripped-off because we paid full price for a whole lot of nothing. We definitely won't ever go back, not even in the summer.
