No you did not inform me from the beginning you only take a few cases, nor did you inform me that it would take years to decide! They wasted 5 MONTHS of our time! And only 5 with my prodding! I called intermittently over this 5 months time and she says she has to make a chart of all the events. I sent her a detailed history timeline of all the events. I send Lori numerous emails she ignores them for weeks lying making an excuse she was out. Then I call after 5 months and she says I will give you a call next week. She did not bother to call at all week. I called her Friday afternoon and she says she will call back later. They ignored and neglected all the other issues of informed consent, delay, misdiagnosis, abandonment nursing home bedsores. On the end of the day Friday call, lackey Lori starts telling me all the hospital horrors and not even getting the details right. I all ready know all the excruciating details do you think I need to be told them again? And I had to dig it out of her if they are going to help me or not! She says they are not going to help because of the 1st negligent event and none of the other many negligence matters and they don't know any experts? How can they be in the malpractice business and not? They could of made a decision it long ago if that is all that matters to them! Of course I hung up on her! Your atrocious disservice was a disgrace! And they don't even inform you upfront they are going to force you to waive your FL constitutional rights as most other exploitative so called lawyers. It is one sided take it or leave it! Why do they have FL citizen constitutional rights for tort victims if the lawyers force you to waive them? It means nothing! And these lawyers don't even respect medical privacy by using a secure uploading service. Why do we have HIPPA laws to protect people when the lawyers get away with anything they want and the FL bar lets them! I hope they don't hurt any others seeking justice! Strongly DO NOT recommend! My company purchased a used vacuum truck from a Miami dealer called National Truck Center, which sells refurbished trucks that originally came from fleets like Ryder and Penske. The truck was marketed as a ready-to-work vacuum truck. Within three days of owning it, the engine completely failed and required a full rebuild. The truck then sat for roughly six months while the engine was rebuilt. After trying to resolve the issue directly with National Truck Center, I contacted Xander Law Group to discuss whether I had a case. I was told the case was strong and that pursuing legal action made sense. Based on that advice, I retained the firm. What followed over the next two years was extremely frustrating. During that time I paid roughly $40,000 in legal fees while the case slowly moved along. Communication was inconsistent. Many times the only time I heard from Xander Law Group was when an invoice was due. After paying an invoice, we would suddenly schedule depositions or meetings where the same documentation would be requested again. I was asked for the same documents multiple times throughout the case despite having already provided them. At one point an invoice increased from roughly $2,200 to nearly $10,000 in a matter of days following a brief Zoom meeting. As the case progressed, the cost projections escalated dramatically. Eventually Xander Law Group informed me that moving forward with trial would require a trial retainer of approximately $70,000-$80,000 for what was described as a one-to-three-day trial. By that point I had already spent tens of thousands of dollars over nearly two years on a lawsuit involving a truck that originally cost around $150,000. To make matters worse, after additional mechanical inspections it became clear that the truck itself had deeper issues. The chassis, weight ratings, and configuration appeared mismatched for the size of the vacuum tank that had been installed. The truck suffered another major engine failure again in July and is currently being rebuilt for a second time after the underlying issue was finally diagnosed. In the end, after two years of litigation and substantial legal fees, the case resulted in a judgment for legal fees which I ultimately paid simply to close the matter and move on with running my business. Litigation is always risky and every case is different. But based on my experience with Xander Law Group, the process became extremely expensive, communication was inconsistent, and the outcome was the complete opposite of what I expected when I first retained the firm. Anyone considering hiring Xander Law Group should make sure they fully understand how quickly litigation costs can escalate and what the financial commitment may ultimately look like.
