I love it! I've been living in Bremen for the past 5 years and love the Freimarkt. And teh history of this fairground festival reaches back to the Middle Ages. Last friday the 973 Freimarkt opened and you can find everything you wish for. Sweet and savory food, drinks, rides, a Ferris wheel (just realized that I can see it from my flat),... I can recommend the Fisch-Rutsche (the baked fish you buy slides down a slide integrated into a small light house replica) or the lovely cinnamon ice cream with hot cherries. I purchased tickets for a recent Jethro Tull concert in Rastatt, Germany, and was unjustifiably…read morecharged a massive €34.90 just for delivery to an EU country outside Germany, for 2 tickets weighing just 15gms in total! It wasn't even a sign-for service. I complained to Eventim Germany but just received an unsatisfactory reply, saying that was UPS' postage charge and there was no postal or e-ticket alternative available. I have since bought tickets for a folk festival near Frankfurt through another prominent ticket agency and was charged a very reasonable price for a prompt signed-for service, so will always use them in future for upcoming concerts in Europe and will never use Eventim again, which is just a con.
