Tried to make online reservation, Taunus Therme system had issues. Called, was put in hold then…read morereceived an automated message saying person you're trying to contact is unavailable. Walked to the Taunus Therme and told reservation could only be made in line. Noted several children running around, including entrance way, unmasked and not old enough to be vaccinated. Even our hotel manager was frustrated that he could not get through on behalf of some other guests. Way too much hassle and not that safe during Corona uptick in cases so never mind.

Safety is important and life guards are there in abundance, the water is clean, not overpoweringly chlorinated, changing and showering facilities plentiful and clean, hair dryers free to use even. Public transport connection is good and plenty of free parking too.

Sadly 2 of our closest German friends (Heinz and Horst their first names) passed recently. If you travel to Frankfurt please visit Rebstockbad and any Volksmarches because then you will see how wonderful Germany is...the people and the food!!

The outdoor pool is one of the nicest in Frankfurt but stay away when too full - the water easily gets greasy and opaque after a summer day....
