Mark was so professional, pleasant, and made my job so much easier! He had printed all the many things I had emailed him prior to the event (I brought copies too because no one does that, usually). And he had the wedding timeline memorized. He played music that perfectly adhered to the specific genres that the couple preferred. His setup/takedown teams were timely and polite, the sound was perfect (not too loud or quiet). And he was so great at adapting to some little changes that arose in the schedule. Just had our wedding this past Saturday and we could not have wished for a better time...freestyle was so professional and easy to work with from the beginning. By far the best DJ and event service ! Hired them for my wedding on June 13th 2015 and was one of the highlights of party. DJ Gabriel had the party dancing all night despite how how hot it was in the hall. He is great for Spanish as well as english! Freestyle events did a good job being the DJ service for my wedding, but there were a few things I feel were not carried through. I had the request sheet for particular songs to be played, and while the ones for the entrances, cake cutting, etc were played as I wished, there were songs that were not played at all during the reception that I specifically requested, primarily slow songs that had deep meaning to me and my family and friends. The DJ did have a good vibe carried throughout the night, but they were all very upbeat, dance-club songs, and I cannot remember one slow song I was able to dance romantically with my new husband, nor see other married couples dance with their spouses. In all honesty, it felt more like a jumping dance party instead of a romantic wedding as I wished. I would recommend their services to others, but with caution to be very adamant that your requests don't become overlooked. read more
