'Outlet Shopping Village' just outside Fleetwood. Shops include Mountain Warehouse, Thornton's, Cadbury, M & S Outlet, Denby, Antler, Gap, Past Times, Paper Mill and many more. Several of the shops are meant to be discounted and some do seem to have sale prices a lot of the time but I wouldn't really describe it as chock full of bargains by any means. There's a food court which overlooks a pretty marina with its assortment of yachts and boats. A MacDonalds on the outskirts and a Costa Coffee within the village itself add to the eating and drinking possibilities. I'd describe it as a nice place to visit for a morning or afternoon out if you're in the area but you may be disappointed if you travel many miles to shop here as it doesn't compare to serious shopping venues such as the Trafford Centre and in all honesty I don't think it would make any claim to. read more

I agree with the previous review: it's a really good place to visit but if you're comparing it to McArthur Glen or any of the larger outlets you'll be a bit disappointed. It's got the essential M&S and Next Clearance though, so I was happy enough! The play area is a massive bonus for those of us with men and kids: one place to dump them both for a couple of hours of shopping in peace! It's not the best in the world but it is perfectly adequate and if it's somewhere you don't visit often then there would be plenty to keep the kids amused. I liked the fact that at the end there's a sort-of marina, so you can watch the boats (ok, I only did it for about 2 minutes then got bored and went to buy chocolate in Thorntons instead, but I liked the idea of it). Definitely worth a visit if you're having a good old British holiday in Blackpool and want a bit of civilized retail therapy. read more

Not as good as I thought it was going to be but as another reviewer has said at least there's nice views. I suppose when you're on holiday that shopping doesn't matter that much and the fact I live in London means I'm spoilt for choice for good centers and this one was just a bit pricey for an outlet village and I feel a bit drab read more

While a number of my favourite shops have disappeared recently, Freeport still has a wide variety of discount shops available. These range from clothing to chocolate and toys. There is also a soft play centre here which is a good distraction for the children, but it is rather basic and also quite depressing as is very dark, with limited staff. read more

This is a great place for a bargain if you live nearby. It is a hike to get to if you are further away and there are not a lot of shops. The shops that are there stock a range of clothes, china, sweets, and homewares are low prices, often at bargain prices. There is plenty of parking and easily reached from Blackpool. There is a food area and a play area for the kids to keep them amused. Recently a branch of Past Times opened, along with Bench and Klass. You can become a VIP member which gives you 10% in some stores. It is worth it if you visit regularly. read more

Freeport is so picturesque, a shopping village right by the sea! It's very easy to get to by car or bus - there is loads of free parking. There are lots of shops that are supposedly discounted but many are still fairly highly priced. The Thorntons and Cadbury shop are probably the worst for this, they are not hugely discounted. You can get little cars to push toddlers around whilst shopping which is great fun for them but pretty cumbersome for the parents trying to shop! The village is completely flat and ideal for wheelchair users. The Hallmark shop and Next are my favourite stores, they really do have good deals and I can get a lot for my money in these shops. Freeport is always growing and plans are in place to create more outlets there, hopefully prices will drop as they are in the highstreet and more bargains will be available! read more

First thing to say is to make sure you take plenty of money. Not because it is extremely expensive but because they offer something for everyone with a large range of shops snd boutiques from a Cadburys shop to clothing. They also have a couple of coffee shops and places to eat. read more

Fleetwood Freeport is a growing complex. It is extremely similar to The Royal Quays, just abit smaller but not for ling. There is drastic improvements and extensions being made to Fleetwood Freeport and soon should outsize The Royal Quays. There are always alot of coach trips going to Fleetwood Freeport especially the O.A.P trips to Blackpool, a hit on the list. There is a wide variety of shops and a vast amount of things for the kids to entertain in. This is a nice complex in an upcoming town and definitely worth a visit if you are ever staying in Blackpool or the local caravan site carla gran. read more

I live just round the corner & it's perfect for everyday shopping needs. Has a great range of high-street shops & with their offers, you don't feel like you have to justify your spending! I got some great clothes for the kids for a bargain at Next whilst they both stayed in the indoor play area, keeping themselves amused. There literally is something for everyone! read more
