As soon as you walk in, you'll either be created by the owner or one by a member of his very competent staff. They always make you feel well-taken care of and have helped me find what I need, while staying within my budget. The store is absolutely huge and their selection is just as vast. Recently, I came in to purchase a small bottle of Patron for a Friendsgiving gift. It was reasonably priced and they kindly gift wrapped for me, which was totally unexpected and very much appreciated! There are a ton of liquor stores in the south shore but I'd venture to say that Liquor Warehouse of Freeport is one of the best.

Most pretty much carry nearly the same inventory so what sets one store apart from another, is customer service... and these guys deliver that in spades! It's a little off the beaten path for me but they are certainly worth the trip and have now become my go-to place. I fav wines are Argentinian malbecs but since everything is so competitive priced here, I look forward to expanding my palate by trying out some of their enormous inventory.

December 21, 2021 was my birthday. I was having a fantastic day until I walked into this store…read more My sister likes Bailey's Irish Creme so I decided I would get her a bottle. Since I hadn't visited this store, I didn't know where it was. I walked in a few feet and stopped scanning the store. When I saw the Bailey's I turned right and starting walking toward the bottles. I stopped adjacent to the check out counter. I then saw the price and changed my mind. The man behind the counter said something to me, which I thought he was asking me if I needed any help. I said no and started walking out the store. He came from behind the counter, following me out the store, yelling that he wanted to look in my pocketbook. I asked him three times what he was saying to me and he kept repeating that he wanted to look in my pocketbook. I told him that he had to be kidding me and that it was my birthday. I wouldn't risk anything just to steal. I have never been accused of stealing anything in my life and to go to this store for the first time ever and be accused of stealing was absolutely crazy. The customer who had just left the store stopped and just looked at him. I hate to attribute his poor judgment and appalling behavior to the fact that I am an African American female but unfortunately it is what it is. Needless to say I will spread the word not to go to this store.

Recently stopped by Freeport Beverage for a 12 pack of non-alcoholic 00 Heineken. I love how…read morethey're kept inside of their giant walk-in freezer. Other stores I've been to sometimes tend to store the non-alcoholic beers at room temperature so it's super nice to be able to grab them ice cold. I also picked up a big bag of sourdough pretzels. They are absolutely DELICIOUS and are the perfect pairing with the N/A Heineken. You honestly forget it's not a "regular" beer! Also, shoutout to Tucker at the desk, he's the man!
