Extremely disappointing management and customer service. I was in town with family hoping to fly for the afternoon. I was told 5 days prior that I would just need to stop by anyday (even over the holidays) to get checked out and then fly for the afternoon. I was quoted that ALL of the aircraft would be available. Upon calling the morning of the checkout, I was told that NO instructors would be available, and that one of the aircraft was rented, but if an instructor showed, they could get me something. Well I waited 6 hours and never received any notification about instructors, but upon calling to follow up, the management decided that none of the aircraft would be available... I will never be using freedom aviation for any sort of flight where dependability or reliability is needed. read more

Landed in Lynchburg 11/16/19. The line crew were very friendly and helpful. They had our plane topped off for the flowing day before we had left for FBO for the evening. The girl behind the counter whose name I did not get was friendly and knowledgeable of places to stay and eat. She recommended a couple restaurants and we picked from one from her recommendation . I would definitely use this FBO in the future. Coffee and cookies available! read more
